Is Regine avoiding appearances on SOP? Is the show really nearing its end?

There are contradicting rumors about Regine Velasquez and SOP nowadays. Some are saying that Regine has been sick so she was not able to appear on SOP for two Sundays now. But some are saying that she was sick. Here's a report from Jun Latin of abante-tonite:
However, according to Pilipino Star Ngayon, Regine will be returning to SOP next Sunday.

And then there are also speculations that SOP will be revamped or replaced soon. There is still no confirmation about this but PSN also reported that the term "Fully Charged" has been dropped from SOP.

Comments please.

No more nominees for PBB this week; Housemates are vying for the remaining FOUR slots in the Big 5!

Yes. There are no more nominees for this week. All of the housemates except for Melissa are in danger of being dropped out of the Big 5.

PBB is much refreshing nowadays because the house is no more filled with negative emotions. The housemates are also less of a fool now because they now know that people outside are still the ones deciding who will stay and who will go out.

However, they still don't have an idea that there'll be a Big 5! And we're sure they'll be delighted to find that out.

Who's your Big 5 anyway?

Paul Jake fans are doing more than just voting!

They CAMPAIGN for Paul Jake.

They go to PBB to meet him every time he is in danger of eviction.

And they even DINE with PAUL JAKE's family!

Mega Magazine features both Marian and Anne; Who's more beautiful?

Tanging Yaman: We like!

For sure, many GMA fans will again react to this but whether you think we're biased or not, we will still endorse this show. We were able to watch yesterday's episode and the we were really impressed by the show.

First, it's like you're watching reality TV. The scenes are so realistic and relevant. We were especially impressed by Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson's scene yesterday where she went to the Presidential Palace and argued with the guards without fear. The fact is, that happens almost everyday in the Philippines. So many people have lost faith in our government that some of us often decide to make a move only to be stopped and controlled by the people in power. The vice-president and his wife's actions are also very common. Traditional politicians who are so deeply rooted in evil they only care about themselves and their money. Tanging Yaman is a very timely show because it precedes a news program where we are able to see the same scenes this time, happening to real people.

Second, the stars of the show are doing very good in portraying their characters. Special mention to Jodi Sta. Maria-Lacson,Ruel Santiago, Noel Buencamino, Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales. They're so good that we often forget that they are not like that in real life. Jodi for example belongs to the middle-class or even in the upper class in real life but in the show, she really looks like someone who grew up in the slums. What do you think?

Meanwhile, Enchong Dee has said on abs-cbn.com that Erich and Ejay are now in good terms. He said, “Every time something happens wala ako dun sa pangyayari. Like nung unang time na ‘yon nagfi-first taping day pa lang ang Katorse wala pa ako nun. Nung pumutok naman ang bagong isyu, nasa bakasyon naman ako non so palagi akong blindsided ng mga pangyayari pero pagbalik ko naman I try to talk to them and they’re very open to work it out so ngayon they’re very okay.”

Jan 25 National Ratings: Nothing much has changed, "Magkano.." off to a good start!

Jan 24 Mega Manila Ratings : SOP is still Low Bat!

We love reading your comments but..

PLEASE STOP MAKING COMMENTS AS OFFENSIVE AND RUDE AS THESE:

"hay nako tong mga bisayang bitter na toh! the best gma d2 sa metro manila! wlang pkialam sa inyo AGB kc ang jojologs nio! metro manila lng ang in kya metro manila lng ang mhlga! mga bisaya bulok!"

or this

"SQUATTER/BISAYA IT'S THE SAME! BISAYA DEN MGA SQUATTER SA METRO MANILA NOH! WAHAHA WLANG PAGKAKAIBA YU"

For those people who made these comments and to those who agree with them, read this:

People from the Visayas are not squatters nor jologs nor bulok. How can you say those words to fellow Filipinos? And what's wrong with being from the Visayas anyway? There are so many big cities in the Visayas that are comparable to the ones here in Metro Manila. There are lots of well-known festivals in the Visayas that we can't find in Manila. The country's most famous beaches are in the Visayas, can you find one near Manila? Sigh. Enough with the place.

People from the Visayas are not different from people from all around the country. If you think people from Visayas are illiterate and homeless or barbarians, you might have been deprived of proper education yourself. And what's with those comments about the ratings from Visayas and Mindanao as useless because there are no TV sets there?

I have been to the Visayas once and I'm telling you, it's not very different from here. People there have their own TV sets too! What were you thinking guys? It's not as if every person in Manila goes to La Salle or Ateneo and eats at Shangri-la hotel everyday! Remember, when Metro Manila was flooded, lots of money and supplies were donated by people from Visayas.

It hurts and annoys us that some people think like the ones who made the comments above. Grow up people!

Mariel and Zanjoe to pair up again in PHR: Love is Only in The Movies!

The real-life sweethearts will be featured in another chapter of the afternoon drama. Zanjoe shared the story on abs-cbn.com. He said, “Ako dito si Xander, isang indie film director. Mai-in love ako dito kay Sheye, si Mariel nga, na isang bartender na magpapanggap na pinsan ko. Si Xander hindi siya naniniwala sa love kasi may traumatic experience siya. Kaya tuloy naging playboy siya para matakpan ‘yung mga insecurities niya.”

We're kind of ambivalent about this new episode of PHR. Zanjoe as we all know is a developing actor. He can act but not yet as good as the likes of Piolo Pascual or Jericho Rosales. However, he has shown potential in his previous projects. Mariel on the other hand has limited experience in acting. We only remember her role as Varga and as Rafael Rosell's partner in PHR's Bud Brothers.

She's a fun and bubbly host but her acting is not really that good yet.

Will you watch Love is Only in The Movies?

Rubi Full Trailer: You Like?

We weren't able to watch the Mexican version of this telenovela so we can't really comment much. But based on the trailer alone, we think this is going to be a good show. Wowee and Kaye are very much welcome. Diether and Jake are both very hot. Shaina is also a good choice for her role.

And Angelica? No one will be able to do this project better than her. It looks like she was destined to do something like this. We will nexpect more memorable lines from her like "How dare you rin po!" which she shouted to Cherie Gil on this trailer.

The story is beautiful. It's just quite disappointing that ABS-CBN had to remake this when they could make something original that can be as good as this. Anyway, perhaps remaking a show is better than pretending to make an "original" one which is obviously copied, right?

Laarni or Gretchen? PDA or Pinoy Idol?

We were watching replays of the latest season of American Idol when we remembered that GMA has made Pinoy Idol sometime in 2008. There was so much hype about how Pinoy Idol would find the next singing superstar and all.

The products of what was dubbed to be the 'grandest and biggest' reality-based singing competition ever, where is Gretchen and her first runner-up Jayann Bautista now?

Meanwhile, luck has been on the side of Laarni Lozada and her first runner-up Bugoy Drilon. Aside from being seen regularly on ASAP, Laarni's Kung Iniibig Ka Niya was the theme song of Kambal sa Uma while Bugoy's songs were used in several TV projects and one of them is now the theme song of Kimerald's latest movie, Paano Na Kaya. The two have also been doing concerts both here and abroad.

Our question now is, who is more successful, Laarni or Gretchen? PDA or Pinoy Idol?

Vice Ganda has already made his mark on Pinoy TV, Agree?

From being a guest player on game shows such as Wowowee and Game KNB to guestings on Sharon to an MMK episode to his biggest project yet, SHOWTIME, Vice Ganda has transformed from a little known stand-up comedian to perhaps the Hottest gay comedian today.

His famous line on Showtime, "May nagtext" is so popular that we hear it almost everywhere. We hear he has been tapped to make a remake of "Petrang Kabayo" and we think he deserves that.

He's one of the most popular TV personalities today because of his being effortlessly funny. He now has more than 480,000 fans on facebook and his fan page boasts of almost 300,000 fans. What can you say about him/her?

Rhian Ramos and TJ Trinidad; You like?

The two will be launched on Dear Friend's "Almost A Love Story" which will start on Jan. 31.

Rhian said on pep, "What I like in my role here in 'Almost A Love Story,' for the first time younger sa age ko ang role ko. Magsisimula ang story na 16 years old ako. Sa past projects ko, laging older ang age ko sa real age ko, masaya ito."

TJ seconded, "Gusto ko ang takbo ng love story namin ni Rhian dito na harmless sa umpisa, may mga kumontra hanggang sa ending na tragic. Ang gusto naming ma-achieve rito ay mangibabaw ang emotion ng viewers kahit may age gap ang karakter namin. This is something to look forward to at sana magustuhan ng tao."

Well, good luck. Do you think their loveteam will work?

PBB Daily: Paul Jake, Kath, Jason, Melissa and Johan are nominated!

This week only Head of Household Tibo and Mariel are sfae from eviction. The remaining five are all nominated.

Jason was automatically nominated after giving the three points to himself again. Paul Jake was again nominated for being 'mayabang'. Johan was nominated for being sensitive and not very conversant like Kath. Melissa on the other hand was nominated for being too loud.

As for Rica, Yuri and Princess? here's the plug from abs-cbn.com:
Kuya invited three of the ex-housemates to extend their visit yet again. Tagged as “Kuya’s Darlings”, tough babes Princess, Rica and Yuri are about to move back in with the rest of the housemates. “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” as the saying goes. With the Big Night mere weeks away, how will the housemates deal with the three? Will Kuya’s Darlings succeed in weeding out the bad and give the outside world their worthy Big Four, or will they be the ones overwhelmed by the surviving housemates?
We think Rica was a good choice since she's smart and quite open-minded. Yuri on the other hand already has her insecurities and angst with some of the remaining housemates. And Princess? She's ok but she's way too intimidating.

Right now, there's not much fun watching the show because there are so many things going on and the primetime telecast is much too delayed.

Starstruck: Rox Montealegre is eliminated!

Starstruck V's beauty and brains just got the boot. She was joined in the bottom three by Enzo Pineda and Steven Silva.

One thing we remember about her? The Kapuso stars she would like to work with are Iwa Moto and Katrina Halili because she "could feel their angst."

And we were like, huh?

HOT: Tired of Mega Manila Ratings? Here are the figures from Visayas and Mindanao!

We have been posting ratings from Mega Manila since we started this blog. However, we realized that based on the 2007 population of the Philippines courtesy of NSO, there are 88,574,614 Filipinos. And Mega Manila which is composed of Region III (9,720,982), Region IV-A(11,743,110) and B(2,559,711)and NCR (11,553,427) has a total population of 35,577,310. That's around 40% of the total Philippine Population.

The rest? Visayas got 17,155,207 people. Mindanao has 21,582,540. Combined, they consist 38,737,747 or 43% of the total Philippine Population. The rest of Luzon has the remaining 16%.

Our point? There are 3 million more Filipinos in Visayas and Mindanao than in Mega Manila. So why on earth are we disregarding the ratings from those important areas? Well, here they are, Kapuso fans take a deep breath before looking at the numbers:

PBB Daily: Hermes is OUT!

PBB's long-haired hunk who was reluctant in entering PBB and was even reluctant to pursue their last task got evicted last night. He got -6.84% of votes against fellow nominated housemates Tibo (1.90%), Kath (6.69%) and Johan (26%).

Well, we will remember him for being the house 'flirt', getting involved in love issues with three girls, Cathy, Carol and Katlin.

Will you miss him?

Anyway, we saw late last night that Rica, Princess and Yuri entered the house again while the housemates were preparing food. We don't know what their task is but they were really annoying. They walked as if they were the masters of the house with their chin up and eyebrows raised. The housemates did not know how to react to them but they offered them food graciously. Mariel and Paul Jake looked uncomfortable with the three. Hmm.

Angel Locsin's career didn't take-off? We don't think so.

Recently, accesspinoy made an article about Angel Locsin's career not taking off again after transferring to ABS-CBN. Here's the exact paragraph courtesy of accesspinoy.com:

Did Marian and her talent manager Popoy really say that Angel Locsin's career did not take-off when she transferred to ABS-CBN? Uh-oh.

Here are facts. When Angel transferred to ABS, she was the talk of the town for months. She made a big and high-rating teleserye "Lobo" which was even noticed by a prestigious international award giving body. Angel was even nominated as Best Actress in another international award giving organization. None of Marian's TV projects was ever given such honor. She made a movie called "Love Me Again", which in fact earned more than some (or all?) of Marian Rivera's movies. She got a best actress trophy for one of her MMK episodes. She became one of the frontrunners of celebrities doing humanitarian work during the Ondoy/Pepeng devastation. She is still being talked about effortlessly because of her love issues and her charity projects. She has a lot of good projects ahead of her; a movie with AGA, Kokey, and a teleserye with John Lloyd Cruz. That's only for 2010.

Marian and her manager might have said that because we think Marian's career will not likely take-off again whether in GMA or in ABS-CBN. Unless she does Mulawin 2, or Asian Treasures 2, there's no way she's gonna rise again (as high as she did in her Marimar and Dyesebel years). Her movies were not very successful and we don't hear another one coming soon. One was even cancelled. Her "Tadyang" was a failure and her Darna did not rate as good as Angel's.

The future for her? We don't know. If she stays with GMA, she might do more team-ups with Dingdong and maybe more telefantasyas. But what if she grows too old for lovetams? With no acting-award on her belt, she may lose to Angel Locsin who now has stronger staying power thanks to her acting skills.

What do you think?

Jap-Brazilian model Daniel Matsunaga lends his hotness to The Last Prince

After Akihiro Sato, GMA gives another Japanese-Brazilian an acting project. Daniel Matsunaga has been in the country for quite sometime doing modeling and TV commercials. And now, GMA will launch him in The Last Prince in the role of a prince who occasionally becomes a werewolf. He will fall in love with the character of Kris Bernal and will therefore be a rival for Aljur Abrenica's character.

Hmm. Hot. Kudos to GMA for giving fresh people a chance. Its also a risk for GMA for using another star who barely has acting talent. GMA pays too much attention on the looks of their stars disregarding the talent much too often.

Will you watch TLP to see him?

GMA's "Todo Bigay" scrapped?

GMA's supposed answer to ABS-CBN's Showtime seems to be dismissed by the network. Todo Bigay, a show once reported to be hosted by Bayani Agbayani, Eugene Domingo and Dionesia Pacquaio may not be pursued anymore.

GMA has sold the timeslot to TAPE, the same company that owns Eat Bulaga!

We'll just wait and see what TAPE will come up with. It better be good.

SOP will welcome Claudine this Sunday, will its ratings rise?

GMA released this plug on igma.tv:

"You wouldn't want to stop the music this Sunday as Janno Gibbs, Jaya and Ogie Alcasid start the show with a bang! Pero hindi diyan magtatapos ang kanilang pagbibigay saya dahil the three seasoned performers all prepared memorable performances this Sunday!"

Ooh. So they'reagain making Janno, Jaya and Ogie as the main event on SOP? Is this their response to Jaya's comments about missing the old SOP format? Hmm. Where will the "others" go?

"At siyempre, hindi rin basta-basta ang pag-welcome kay Miss Claudine Barretto! Expect a show-stopping act as SOP Fully Charged welcomes this outstanding actress sa kanyang Kapuso family."

And oh, they're welcoming Claudine! But isn't this too late? It has been weeks after Claudine transferred to the Kapuso network. Is this one of their tactics to get more viewers?

Well, good luck.

PBB Daily: Paul Jake is the best player this week; Jason, Melissa and Hermes are weaklings!

Paul Jake has shown great leadership while Johan, Kath, Mariel and Tibo showed perseverance and patience.

On the other hand, Jason's laziness became too obvious. He was using 'friendship blah, blah, blah' to cover-up his unwillingness to do the task. He kept telling the others "Magkakasakit kayo dahil lang sa pera?". Heck. People die because of money in the real world. And the other housemates won't have to work that hard if he and Melissa were doing their part. Melissa? She's too caught up with Jason she tends to do whatever he wants her to do. Hermes also showed weakness.

Lastly, we liked what Paul Jake said at the end of the show yesterday. People have their good and bad side. You will have to choose whether you will look at the good side or at the bad.

Our Big 4 for this week? Paul Jake, Tibo, Kath, and Mariel. How about you?

ABS-CBN's Cinema Trailer for the 1st Quarter of 2010: We like it!

Wow! It's like a 5 movie trailers in one! We love the emotions of Rubi stars, the mystery and freshness of Agua Bendita, Angel's pretty face in Kokey and the sexy teaser of Habang May Buhay. Looks like ABS-CBN is taking their dramas seriously. It's almost Hollywood-ish.

However, we're unsure if Matteo Guidicelli and Andi Eigenmann will attract enough viewers. Kokey seems a bit awkward. But except from those potential blunders, we think the ABS-CBN shows for the first quarter of 2010 are fiery HOT!

For those who like us

Lately, we have been getting more than 200 page visits per day. Thanks to you!

Honestly, we think many of those visits were because of the consistent plugging in Starmometer. Thanks to you again.

The problem now is, what happens after Starmometer deletes those plugs?

So we are again asking for your help for making this site known to more people. Keep including us in your comments in other sites or you may even post our site in your facebook walls. Anything really. Don't let us sink, ok? :D

Again guys, hold on until we reach 3000 page visits per day and beyond!

Starstruck's Ian Batherson wants to be like Sam Milby!

In an interview with pep.ph, Ian Batherson claimed he wants to be like Sam Milby. He said, "To be honest, he's one of my idols here. Kasi parehas ang sitwasyon namin. We were the same age when we left [the States]. Nagsimula siya ng modeling, ako din nagsimula ako nag-model. Tapos nag-enter siya sa PBB [Pinoy Big Brother], nag-enter ako sa StarStruck. Tapos, 21... I turned 21 last week."

"So, parang I look up to him a lot. Kasi pagsimula niya, hindi siya marunong mag-Tagalog, like not even a sentence. So, pag nakita ko na si Sam, parang there's talagang hope for me. Like puwede na ako maging artista dito. Siya talaga yung motivation ko. Oo nga, hindi ako marunong mag-Tagalog masyado. But Sam Milby, he risked it all tapos ngayon he's one of the biggest stars here. I was like, you know, Sam Milby did it, so why don't I try? He's a motivation for me. He's awesome to make it this far."

Hmm. A Starstruck finalist idolizing a an ex-PBB housemate? That's new. And refreshing. :D

GMA's newest loveteam Paulo and Jennica; Will it work?

GMA is building up another new loveteam. This time, they are paring up Paulo Avelino and Jennica Garcia. Jennica is of course the daughter of Jean Garcia while Paulo is a Starstruck 4 avenger. Pep.ph posted an interview about Paolo's feelings for Jennica.

Paulo said in the interview, "Aaminin ko na na-attract ako kay Jennica noong mga panahon na 'yon. Maganda siya and she's very mabait. Kaya sino ba namang lalake ang hindi magpu-fall for Jennica, di ba? That time naman kasi, matagal na silang wala ni Mart [Escudero, Paulo's batchmate in StarStruck] kaya mukhang okey naman siguro kung manligaw ako."

"Pero may mga pangyayari nga that prevented me from pursuing Jennica. So I decided na huwag nang ituloy ang panliligaw ko kay Jennica. Out of respect na lang sa nakapaligid sa amin. But kami naman ni Jen, we're okay and we're friends naman. Hindi naman siguro siya papayag na maka-partner ako kung hindi kami okey."

The two will be the lead stars of GMA's afternoon soap, Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita? together with Jean garcia.

They look good together but the question is, Ikaw, Gugustuhin Mo Ba Sila?

Pardon us for the cheesiness. :D

Caught on Cam: Princess tried to twist Mariel's hand and punch her and Kuya says nothing!

Watch this PBB fans and pay attention to 1:43 to 1:53. Why is Kuya letting this happen? He's treating the housemates like the LABORATORY RATS making them fight for food, fight for money, and play degrading psych games on each other.

Jason and Melissa are becoming too nice for comfort these days. What's with Jason defending Princess? Princess was about to destroy the tower and Mariel just tried to stop her. And still Jason says if Mariel did not approach Princess, she would have behaved?

Aside from Paul Jake and Mariel, Kath, Tibo, Hermes and Johan are also becoming assertive.

Melissa and Jason are not even doing enough to help accomplish the task. Its like they have their own world exclusive for them. We love Melissa to the bones but this week, she and Jason are being annoying.

And why is Toni looking so happy with what is happening with the housemates? She looks like she doesn't care at all. And then Kuya told Mariel, "Hinding-hindi ako gagawa ng isang bagay na aabot sa violence." Hello? If twisting one's hand, throwing water bags to people, and trying to punch another person is not violence, we don't know what violence is anymore.

We think by the end of the week, Kuya will say that the winner's pot money will not be really decreased whether they won the task or not. It's just a test blah, blah, blah. And we'll be one of Kuya's Laboratory Rats.Believing and agreeing with everything he's saying like he's God. Outrageous.

Comments please.

Starstruck's Enzo Pineda denies issues about family's wealth keeping him from being eliminated!

Enzo Pineda, one of the remaining Starstruck survivors is being faced with the issue that his father, Eric Pineda who happens to be Pacquaio's business manager, and his family's wealth is the only reason why he is still in the show.

He said on pep.ph, "For me, it's their opinion. Siguro sa umpisa po, parang, 'Bakit ganun?' Pero, I just have to reflect on things dahil alam ko di naman ganun ang pamilya ko. We're good Christians. But I can't deny na tinutulungan po ako ng buong pamilya ko. Maybe through networking lang or through friends, which I really appreciate. Kasi lahat po kami [sa StarStruck V], tinutulungan talaga ng pamilya namin. We can't help it also."

"Hindi naman po based sa money, e. Nandito po ako hindi po dahil sa parents ko. Kumbaga, I want to create my own identity. I'm here because I love to perform. Sumali po ako ng StarStruck like everybody else. Pumila po ako. Lahat ng challenges po pinagdaanan ko po kagaya ng lahat po sa amin.... So, pantay-pantay po kami."

Cute guy. Ignore those intrigues. Its shallow and doesn't really matter.

Jan 20 National Ratings: KTM is NO.1;Family Feud is nowhere in the daytime Top10!

Once one of GMA's strongest daytime shows, Family Feud is nowhere in the Top ten considering that its their celebrity week.

In the primetime race, GMA remains very weak. Looks like TV viewers from Aparri to Zamboanga are not fond of telefantasyas and Koreanovela adaptations anymore anymore.

GMA should really stop calling themselves as "the Philippines' no. 1 television network" because IT IS NOT TRUE. That we can say without fear.

Maybe they could call themselves that once they really dominate Mega Manila and even manage to enter the top3 nationwide. Because right now, ABS-CBN rules the National Ratings and is even fighting for the Top spots in Mega Manila ratings. Their movies are bigger box-office hits. Their artists make bigger concerts and sell more albums.

They have every reason to say they are no.1 but they're not saying it. Perhaps they feel that the people know anyway and there's no need to say it? Sorry Kapuso fans but right now, that's the truth.

Jan 20 Mega Manila Ratings: Darna is again No.1; KTM beats TLP!

Whew. We don't really get AGB's Mega Manila ratings. Looks like everyday, another show gets stronger while the others fall. Do they change panel homes everyday? If not, does it mean to say that people in Mega Manila watch Darna for today, May Bukas Pa tomorrow, then Darna again the next day? Hmm.

Anyway, Darna is back on top. However, we still can't say that GMA has won this time because 3 out of 5 of the Top5 shows are from ABS-CBN. Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo and Tanging Yaman which are both new shows were able to defeat their GMA rival shows.

And oh, what's wrong with Full House? It has been getting consistently low ratings compared to Richard previous projects. What do you think?

Jan. 20 AGB Primetime Rankings:

1. Darna 32.3%
2. Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo 30.4%

Angel Locsin talks about pair-up with Jake for MMK and her future projects!

For sure, this will another memorable episode. We ahven't seen Angel acting on TV for a while and her pair-up with Jake is fresh and interesting. They are one of the HOTTEST stars today.

In an interview with abs-cbn.com Angel, who will be playing the role of an accidental mistress, said, “It’s different talaga.

So lahat bago ngayon. Tapos hindi pa ako nakatulog at all. Sobrang excited ko dito sa MMK, kahit isang oras hindi talaga.”

On Jake Cuenca:

“Si Jake kasi first scene niya ever kaming dalawa ni Riley [Valeroso] ang kaeksena niya (Click). So wala na ‘yang itatago sa akin, kabisado ko na siya. Pero siyempre ang huling eksena namin sa Majika pa. So ngayon nakita ko yung growth niya bilang actor.”

“Ngayon ang dami na niyang questions. ‘So Direk dito ko ba ibibigay? Ganyan ganyan.’ Aba, okay itong taong ‘to ha. Nag-grow na talaga siya at nag-iisip na aktor. Okay siya. Pero hindi pa kasi kami naging love team kaya medyo nagtatantsahan pa kami. Yung kaninang eksena nagulat ako kasi yung una parang kilig-kilig lang. Mahirap ang role ng mistress ha. Kasi dapat maintindihan mo yung mga bagay-bagay. Tsaka ang daming shifting of emotions e. ”

On her future projects:

“Yung Kokey inaantay ko. Tapos nag-storycon kami nila Inang (Olive Lamasan) for Kuya Aga's movie, iba na yung story from the last time na nag-usap-usap kami. Lahat siguro ng ayokong gawin nandudun. Tapos si Inang pa yung direktor na sobrang nirerespeto ko talaga, kaya excited din akong gawin. At thankful ako kay Kuya Aga kasi sobrang bait din niya talaga. Hindi ko pa pwede i-reveal yung story, baka patayin ako ni Inang, pa-good shot muna ako. Tapos yung teleserye with Lloydy after ng Kokey at ng movie niya (Miss You Like Crazy). Isa-isa lang, kawawa naman si Lloydy.”

Good Luck girl.

Jennylyn Mercado on love and plans for her son

In an interview posted in igma.tv, Jennylyn shared what she thinks of relationships right now.

When asked if she plans to enter another relationship she said, "In God’s time, sa ngayon bata pa naman ako--hindi pa naman ako kailangan mag [hanap], hindi pa ako nagmamadali. Siguro darating talaga 'yung tamang [time]."

"Kahit naman noon eh [wala akong time sa love] pero kasi kasama ko 'yung love life ko [dati sa work]. Ngayon kasi iba na, kasi kailangang paghandaan din 'yung future ni AJ (her son). At saka lahat nakaplano 'yung mga dapat kong gawin."

Will she let her son enter showbiz? "Siguro hanggang endorsements lang pero wala ng showbiz. Pagtatapusin ko muna siya sa school niya, pag-aaral muna. 'Yun na muna 'yung priority niya at saka 'yun din 'yung goal ko para sa kanya--ang makatapos sa school."

And how is she coping up as a single mom? "Masarap na mahirap. Masarap kasi wala akong ibang iniintindi kung hindi 'yung family ko lang, tapos 'yung career ko lang. 'Yun that’s it. Tapos wala na akong kailangan, walang ibang commitment."

Well, this girl has the looks and even can sing. We believe that given the right project and training, she can become a good actress.

PBB Daily: Did Princess go overboard?

If you watched PBB primetime yesterday, you would have seen what Princess and the other ex-housemates did. And again, we're confused. What does Kuya really want to happen?

If we try to analyze it, the remaining housemates are bound to lose this week. If they stand their ground and protect the tower and eggs from the ex-housemates, Kuya may tell them that they failed because they valued money over friendship. On the other hand, if they give up the eggs and the tower to please the ex-housemates, Kuya may say they were disobedient and easily fooled.

And what's with the ex-housemates? They keep saying that the remaining housemates are fake and pretentious. Were they perfectly honest when they were still inside the house? Cathy and Yuri are so full of BITTERNESS.

If there's one good thing that Resbak Attack has made, it's the revelation of how mean, nasty, and plastic the ex-housemates really are.

We give plus points to Mariel, Tibo, Johan, Hermes, Kath and Paul Jake for being assertive. As for Jason and Melissa? Err. We get the point that they should value friendship but we think they are being easily influenced by others and they don't really have their own stand.

Special mention to Mariel and Paul Jake. They have been getting insulted and provoked more than the other housemates. We love Mariel for being a fighter and we admire Paul Jake for being cool and polite even if being verbally attacked face to face.

Again, they are still subject to judgment. People may say Mariel is hotheaded and mean but she's just being real. Any normal person would react the same way if placed in the same situation. People may also say Paul Jake is plastic when in fact, he's just showing that he was well-raised and is showing respect and patience.

Again, this is just our opinion and your opinions count too. Come share them.

Rayver Cruz prepares for a sexier role in Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal

Rayver Cruz is one of Bangs Garcia's leadin men in the upcoming afternoon soap, "Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal?"

In an interview on abs-cbn.com, Rayver tells us what to expect from him in his new show. Here it is:

“Kakaibang role na naman ang gagampanan ko in this series.Mas challenging, mas mature at medyo may konting kaseksehan. Not totally sexy, alam naman natin na medyo limited ang television unlike sa movies. Basta, panoorin nila ang bagong series naming ito at makikita naman nila ang kakaibang Rayver sa kakaibang pagganap."

Required kasi sa story 'yung mga sexy scenes na konti, at saka, we have this great director like Chito Rono, so, mas naging kampante naman ako kasi direk Chito na 'yan, ‘di ba? At saka, bilang isang aktor, you have to grow naman, kailangan mong mag-explore, kasi, not all the time naman ay pa-tweetums nalang ako, hindi naman nag-level-up, kailangan at panibagong experience for me as an actor.”

On his rumored secret relationship with Sarah:

Yes! Magazine features Marian and Dingdong in its February issue!

Kapuso fans will love the latest edition of Yes! magazine which will feature an exclusive interview about Dingdong and Marian's relationship.

Here's a preview(?) courtesy of pep.ph:

"We would connect on the most important scene, and then after that, wala na," Dingdong recalls. "Siguro, wala lang sa tipo namin ang magpa-cute sa set."

Marian adds, "Hindi si Dingdong ang tipo na pa-cute, e. Hindi rin ako 'yong tipong pa-cute."

Marian then says, "Aminin man namin o hindi, kung anong kahinaan ko, meron siya. At kung ano ang kulang sa akin, napupunan niya. Swak kami. Kaya balance kami. Hindi kami parehas, e. Iyong last Christmas, meron siyang sinabi sa 'kin na hindi ko ine-expect na masasabi niya sa 'kin no'ng Christmas na 'yon."

What did Dingdong say?

"More or less, it's 'Let's do this every year... As long as I live.'"

Whoa. Sweet or cheesy? Will you buy the magazine?

Basta kami, we try to do our best na lang."

Bong Godinez reported on pep.ph about Jaya's comments regarding SOP. We're not sure if SOP fans will take it well but we think there's really something wrong with that show. Here's what Jaya said:

"We are going through something. Kaming mga talents, we're as confused as whoever. Kasi binago 'yong format, so hindi talaga namin alam kung anong pakiramdam ng viewers. Let's face it, it's not really rating as well as it used to."

"Ang masasabi ko lang sana maakit namin ulit ang mga viewers because obviously, the other show [ABS-CBN's ASAP XV] is also very nice. And I also watch that show kasi siyempre gusto ko ring makita kung anong kaibahan sa amin."

"We used to sing well on put-together numbers. We used to have Basil [Valdez] come in, we used to have tiny orchestra. Bigay mo lang kung anong hindi makita ng tao sa Araneta [Coliseum] o ibang concert venues. Hindi ko din alam kung anong mali. Basta kami, we try to do our best na lang."

We hope that yesterday will not be the first and last time that this site will get more than 2,000 visitors. Hold on guys, until we get to 3,000 and above!

Anyway, since we're in a great mood, we'll share to you a tweet from Nikki Gil which made us laugh. Here it is: "(I) told our helper that I'll be on a diet so bantayan ang mga iluluto. So she cooks lechon kawali for lunch."

Another SOP Big Star is not happy with the show's format!

Looks like Regine Velasquez is not alone in being disappointed with SOP's new format.

Who could that 'sila' be?

Anyway, they are not alone. Last Sunday, SOP was again defeated by ASAP both in Mega Manila and National Ratings.

Mega Manila courtesy of AGB: ASAP 16.5% vs SOP 11.1%
National courtesy of TNS: ASAP (18.5%) vs SOP (11.4%)

Well honestly, we think the show has improved a lot. They are now playing newer songs and have a much better stage. What does SOP have to do to improve? Almost all Kapuso stars are in there now. They have lots of sexy dances and kissing scenes. They even have some of their comedians in the show.

But clearly, it's still not working. Is it because of the annoying FAKE cheers from the audience? SOP has good singers and dancers too. But they lack the stage presence and fab factor of ASAP.

What can you say about this?

It's gonna be a busy year for Star Cinema!

Here are the proposed movies that the film outfit will be producing this year:

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's "Paano Na Kaya"- January 27.
John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo's "Miss You Like Crazy"- February 24.
Sam Milby and Anne Curtis' "Babe, I Love You"- April 3.

and other movie team-ups with no title and launching date yet:
Gabby and KC Copcepcion
Piolo Pascual and Santino
Angel Locsin and Aga Muhlach
Robin Padilla and Toni Gonzaga

And possibly a Fifth installment to the rather, informal, 'Tanging Ina' series entitled, "Cooking ng Ina Mo" starring of course, Ai-ai de las Alas.

Shaina and John Break-up; No third party involved!

Shaina Magdayao denied the rumors of Denise Laurel or John Lloyd Cruz being the cause of her break-up with John Prats.

Here's what she said on abs-cbn.com:

“Honestly, gaya ng lahat ng breakup hindi siya maayos pero ginagawa namin ang lahat para ma-save ang friendship namin.”
“Wala hong third party. If there is anyone to blame, siguro kami lang dalawa ni John ‘yon, huwag na tayong mandamay ng ibang tao."
“I guess we’re okay but we’re not really okay yet. Stages naman ‘yan, eh. Step by step. Sana ma-save namin ang friendship.”
“We’re working it out para mai-save ang friendship namin kasi nga hindi lang kasi sa kanya malaki ang respeto ko kundi sa buong pamilya niya.”

For their age, break-ups are OK. They're too young to be taking love that seriously, don't you think?

Are you happy with PBB's RESBAK ATTACK?

We're absolutely not! The show is now showing lots of negative actions such as being 'plastic', making the FU sign, and shouting derogatory words. What's happening to this show?

And what's with Yuri and the other ex-housemates? They don't like Paul Jake because he's "mayabang" but then they also don't like Kath because "hindi siya nagpapakita ng masama!" What kind of logic is that? And how's that suppose to show us who the remaining housemates really are? Isn't this show supposed to be a 'teleserye ng totoong buhay'? Why are there so many fake stuff going on?

PBB people have to consider the viewers of their program which includes young people. There's too much negative things going on. Are they trying to show the world that Pinoys are war-freak, rude, mean, plastic, pretentious and dumb people?

This is just our opinion. Anyway, Tom is rumored to have exited the house. Is it because he can't take the obnoxious things they are doing to the remaining housemates? Or is he just trying to save his career? We sure think no one's gonna like the ex-housemates that much after this week.

What can you say about this?

Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo premieres strongly in Mega Manila!

According to AGB and pep, the KIMERALD drama got a rating of 34.4% in Mega Manila yesterday! This is a far cry from the ratings of The Last Prince in Mega Manila when it was launched last Jan.11. The Alkris fantaserye only got 30.9%

That is, considering that the Mega Manila area is supposed to be GMA's strength. We're sure Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo has an even higher rating in the National ratings!
