Rocco Nacino is Cosmo Hunk of The Month for April!

Looks like Starstruck's 2nd Prince Rocco Nacino is already one step ahead of his co-finalists Enzo Pineda and Steven Silva.

The registered nurse has already done a photo shoot for Cosmopolitan PHilippines for the Cosmo Hunk of the Month for April.

He also auditioned for a third party role in Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak and is still waiting for the results.

As of now, the only sure projects for the Starstruck V survivors is Party Pilipinas.

Starstruck V finalists and avengers will be in Party Pilipinas!

Pep just made these tweets:
Kasama sa Party Pilipinas sina StarStruck V winners Sarah Lahbati at Steven Silva, pati na sina Diva Montelaba, Enzo Pineda, at Rocco Nacino

Bukod sa kanila, kasama rin sa Party Pilipinas ang StarStruck V Avengers na sina Piero Vergara, Ian Batherson, at Princess Snell.

Just when we thought SOP people have learned their lesson (that lousy performers make a lousy show), they will again try their luck with new comers! Some of those kids sure have talent (especially Diva) but putting all five finalists and some avengers in the show will not be very good for GMA's new show.

Sure, there are also newcomers in ASAP such as the new Star Magic artists but they do well because they are well-prepared for the numbers. But then, almost all GMA artists were already in SOP. There are very few Kapuso artists to choose from for the new show. Getting the fresh Starstruck products is an easy idea. But is it a great idea?

Good luck Party Pilipinas people. Good luck to your "live singing" theme with these new starlets.

What do you think of this?

Looks versus Popularity; Steven-Sarah or Melason?

It's ironic. Sarah Lahbati and Steven Silva are supposed to be more popular because practically, they came from a show that searches and builds up new stars. However, they are obviously incomparable to the ultra popular Melissa and Jason whose fame has crossed from TV to the internet. They even have lots of fans abroad!

So what do you think, who will be more successful? The good-looking starstruck survivors or the funny PBB housemates?

Steven Silva and Sarah Lahbati are Starstruck's Ultimate Survivors!

Sarah averaged 94.6 percent while Steven had 93.5 percent. Diva scored 91.4 percent, Enzo got 90.2 percent, while Rocco had an average of 88.3 percent.

First Prince and Princess are Enzo Pineda and Diva Montelaba while Rocco Nacino was third runner-up.

Steven and Sarah each won 1.5 million pesos while the others got 200,000.

Do you think these five will make it big in showbiz?

P.S. We loved the performances of the five finalists. They'd be great additioins to SOP.

Starstruck V Drama; Will you buy this?

This smells like a desperate publicity effort but it sounds interesting so here it is:

Rox Montealegre declared that she couldn't take the "pambabastos" that Rocco Nacino, one of the Starstruck Final Five, did to her. Montealegre is one of the Starstruck Final 14 who got eliminated earlier. Here's her story:

“Palalampasin ko sana ang ginawa niyang (Rocco) pag-aalipusta sa pagka-babae ko. Akala ko kasi ay ie-edit out at hindi na ipalalabas on TV ‘yung binastos at inapi ako ni Rocco.

“V-day namin sa StarStruck.

Montealegre claims that her parents even cried because of this. What does being an RN have to do with saying “Ikaw mula pa sa simula ay plastic at isnabera ka na!"? That's not exactly cursing, right? What's the big deal?

What's your take on this? Real? Fabricated? Or Non-sense?

Starstruck Final Five are Rocco, Steven, Sarah, Enzo and Diva!

Only Sarah Lahbati, Rocco Nacino, Enzo Pineda, Steven Silva and Diva Montelaba are left to fight for the two titles at stake-Ultimate Male Survivor and Ultimate Female Survivor.

Nina Kodaka was eliminated yesterday. Click HERE if you want to understand the so many factors that led to the Final Five.

The Final Judgment will be on February 21 at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

Do you like the Final Five? Who do you think will win?

P.S.
GMA fans will again hate us for this but frankly, none of these Final Five is as popular as the PBB Big 5. Agree?

Starstruck's My5: Why is voting for TV shows becoming more complicated?

First they asked us to vote for who we like. Then PBB introduced vote to evict where we could only vote the one we wanted to be out. Then they came up with vote to save and vote to evict.

And now, Starstruck has My5. And no, that's not a cellphone model or some brand name. It's a voting process.

Here's the mechanics from igma.tv:
Only one elimination night remains—do you think your Final V will make it to the Final Judgment? Vote to keep your choice survivor in the running! Just text MY5 (space) SURVIVOR1, SURVIVOR2, SURVIVOR3, SURVIVOR4, SURVIVOR 5 and send to 2344 for Globe, TM and Sun subscribers, and 367 for Smart and Talk N' Text users. Each vote costs PhP2.00 for Sun subscribers and PhP2.50 for other networks. (This service is exclusive for the Philippines only.)

Remember, if you have less than five names in your vote—it will not be counted.
Whoa. How about that? We don't know about you but we think these voting dramas only want to increase their revenue and maybe to look original. And we're not only referring to Starstruck. PBB is also very highly commercialized we can barely see the difference between the show and the commercial breaks.

Starstruck: Rox Montealegre is eliminated!

Starstruck V's beauty and brains just got the boot. She was joined in the bottom three by Enzo Pineda and Steven Silva.

One thing we remember about her? The Kapuso stars she would like to work with are Iwa Moto and Katrina Halili because she "could feel their angst."

And we were like, huh?

Starstruck's Ian Batherson wants to be like Sam Milby!

In an interview with pep.ph, Ian Batherson claimed he wants to be like Sam Milby. He said, "To be honest, he's one of my idols here. Kasi parehas ang sitwasyon namin. We were the same age when we left [the States]. Nagsimula siya ng modeling, ako din nagsimula ako nag-model. Tapos nag-enter siya sa PBB [Pinoy Big Brother], nag-enter ako sa StarStruck. Tapos, 21... I turned 21 last week."

"So, parang I look up to him a lot. Kasi pagsimula niya, hindi siya marunong mag-Tagalog, like not even a sentence. So, pag nakita ko na si Sam, parang there's talagang hope for me. Like puwede na ako maging artista dito. Siya talaga yung motivation ko. Oo nga, hindi ako marunong mag-Tagalog masyado. But Sam Milby, he risked it all tapos ngayon he's one of the biggest stars here. I was like, you know, Sam Milby did it, so why don't I try? He's a motivation for me. He's awesome to make it this far."

Hmm. A Starstruck finalist idolizing a an ex-PBB housemate? That's new. And refreshing. :D

Starstruck's Enzo Pineda denies issues about family's wealth keeping him from being eliminated!

Enzo Pineda, one of the remaining Starstruck survivors is being faced with the issue that his father, Eric Pineda who happens to be Pacquaio's business manager, and his family's wealth is the only reason why he is still in the show.

He said on pep.ph, "For me, it's their opinion. Siguro sa umpisa po, parang, 'Bakit ganun?' Pero, I just have to reflect on things dahil alam ko di naman ganun ang pamilya ko. We're good Christians. But I can't deny na tinutulungan po ako ng buong pamilya ko. Maybe through networking lang or through friends, which I really appreciate. Kasi lahat po kami [sa StarStruck V], tinutulungan talaga ng pamilya namin. We can't help it also."

"Hindi naman po based sa money, e. Nandito po ako hindi po dahil sa parents ko. Kumbaga, I want to create my own identity. I'm here because I love to perform. Sumali po ako ng StarStruck like everybody else. Pumila po ako. Lahat ng challenges po pinagdaanan ko po kagaya ng lahat po sa amin.... So, pantay-pantay po kami."

Cute guy. Ignore those intrigues. Its shallow and doesn't really matter.

Rocco Nacino, Sarah Lahbati and Nina Kodaka in Bottom three; saved by judges!

The Starstruck council used Factor 2 to cancel elimination because according to pep.ph, Rocco Nacino and Sarah Lahbati were in the bottom three. Does that mean they would have not used that if the two were not in danger? Just asking. Anyway, Factor 2 can only be used once so next week, someone is going to be eliminated.

Starstruck: Bye Rye!

Rye Burgos is Starstruck V's latest eliminated contestant, the first for the males in the Top14. Joining him in the bottom three were Ian Batherson and Nina Kodaka.

He looks rather HOT in this pic from facebook. Sigh.
