Kim Chiu on I Love You Goodbye experience

Kim Chiu shared lots of stuff in an interview with abscbn.com. Here are some of her words:
“First time na wala si Gerald kaya nakakapanibago.
Mararamdaman nila ‘yung pagmamahal ng father and daughter, between two lovers. Punong puno ng pagmamahal at aral itong pelikula namin. Marami ring twists kaya magugulat lahat ng tao na manonood.”

SIS had last taping day yesterday!

The FORMER morning ratings leader has just had its last taping day. Meaning, it's come to an end.

The show's last airing will be on Jan.1, 2010.

Bye SIS, you did a very good job!

If you HATE Carol, you must LIKE this!

This photo was taken from HERE. An edited poster of the movie entitled "The Orphan." (We saw the movie. It's disturbing.)

We think it's rather mean. Maybe that's because at the end of the day, even if Carol is emotionally immature, that's a small fault compared to Cathy's fakeness, Mariel's being too liberated and Hermes' pretentiousness.

What do YOU think?

PBB Daily: Melissa and Jericho's Date for those who can't wait!

And the rest are here:

ENJOY!

Only 5 of the 7 MMFF entries will open on Dec.25!

Here are the list of movies that will open on Dec. 25:

Sharon Cuneta’s “Mano Po 6: My Mother’s Love
Shake, Rattle & Roll XI
Dolphy’s “Nobody, nobody But Juan.”
Bong Revilla's "Ang Panday"
Vic Sotto's "Darling Kong Aswang"

“Wapakman” will open on Dec. 27 because of late submission courtesy of Krista Ranillo's unavailability

Finally, “I Love You...Goodbye” will be launched on January 1 next year.

This is a way to give the movies more chances of earning more by decreasing the competition. Do you like the schedule?

>This is actually based on a news from stir.ph

However, the commercial for I Love You Goodbye has a very clear DEC.25 showing! We'd rather believe the teaser right?

Vic Sotto about Pia Guanio: “We don’t live together and no sleeping over!”

Nitz Miralles wrote about an interview with Vic Sotto about his lovelife. Here are some of Vic's statements:
“We don’t live together and no sleeping over.”

“Wala akong regrets na nag-asawa ako at nauwi sa hiwalayan dahil binigyan ako ng dalawang anak at never kong pagsisisihan ‘yun. Pero ang next time, gusto kong maging near perfect kaya ayaw kong magmadali at ‘di puwedeng madaliin. Bata pa naman si Pia.”

He said he wants a private wedding if ever they'll get married. “Pero ‘di ko itatago. I don’t see any reason bakit kailangang itago ang pagpapakasal. Gusto ko lang private and when I say private, family and friends ang nandu’n."

Great qoutes from a well-experienced man.

AGB Nielsen: GMA News and Public Affairs is Most Credible!

Here is the report from Starmometer:
A total of 44.8% of the respondents in Mega Manila said GMA was the top-of-mind free-to-air TV station, while 43.7% voted for ABS-CBN. Around 87% of the of the respondents regularly watched GMA, while only about 60% said the same for ABS-CBN.

GMA Network was also one of the preferred stations according to 74% of the respondents, while only 55.1% said the same for ABS-CBN.

In the same AGB Nielsen survey, GMA scored a higher credibility rating of 68.9% than its rival’s 45.7%. This supports earlier findings from a Metro Manila qualitative study done by GMA that the channel was generally perceived as fair, balanced, and truthful, while ABS -CBN was considered by some as biased due to alleged vested interests in politics and business.

GMA Network was likewise ahead in overall appeal as confirmed by 67.2% of the respondents compared to ABS-CBN’s 47.8%. A total of 71.3% of the respondents also said that GMA was more innovative compared to the 52.5% who said the same for ABS.
Wow. These are pretty shocking results. It is noteworthy to remember though that this survey was done by AGB Nielsen and that it was only done in MEGA MANILA.

What can you say about it?

Bong Revilla: Hayden is lying!

Looks like Bong Revilla still hasn't moved on with his angst on Hayden. After rejoicing that Hayden's license was canceled by PRC, he's now claiming that Hayden's suicide story is a lie.

Here is his statement on Pep about Hayden's denial that he was found "wala sa sarili" in a pineapple plantation in Cavite:
"Idinenay ba ni Hayden? Sa madaling-salita,he's lying! Kausap ko yung provincial director ngayon lang at sinasabi niya na may nangyari na ganoong insidente. So,merong ganoong insidente at huwag niyang palabasin na sinungaling ang mga kababayan ko sa Cavite."
"Yun nga ang paiimbestigahan natin ngayon. Katulad ng nagkakaroon ng cover-up. Bakit, what for?"
"At kung wala naman dapat itago, bakit kailangan itago? Yun lang ang puntos natin diyan. Ako, nothing personal. Ako naman, naka-focus sa kaso ni Katrina Halili at yung mga nabiktima ni Hayden. This is a differnt case. Kumbaga, nothing personal sa pangyayari na 'to pero huwag naman nating gawing sinungaling yung mga tao na nandoon."
"Bakit kailangan nila na itago? According sa provincial director, totoong may ganoong insidente."
What's up with senator Bong? Comments please.

PBB Daily: Oops! sorry. Melissa REALLY had a date with Jericho!

Kuya is getting on our nerves again. We were so excited about Melissa having the chance to meet one of her celebrity crushes and yet Kuya spoils it again. Why did Jason get Maja? After everything Melissa went through? We hope Kuya will make her happy sometime soon.

And he did! Jericho had a date with Melissa! Melai was crying with happiness!

Another bummer is Kuya seems to be having fun making fools out of the housemates. Excuse me sir, those people are humans! With feelings! You shouldn't treat them like laboratory rats!

And what's with PBB's "abangan bukas" videos? Some of them get showed two days after!

All these stuff makes PBB even more stressful to watch. They're so lucky Melissa, Johan, Tibo, Carol, Kath, Rica and Paul Jake are there. They're the only ones worth watching. Cathy and Hermes look great together. Fakers and flirts.

Willie is not transferring to TV5; has more surprises in store for Wowowee fans in 2010!

Rumors about the transfer of Yes Magazine's Most Powerful Star of 2008 are not true. Willie will stay in ABS-CBN despite rumored offers from the fast-growing network.

Instead, he has lots of plans for 2010 including changes in Wowowee for next year with greater prizes at stake!

John Lloyd's manager sheds light on Japan incident!

John Lloyd's handler from Star Magic sent a text message to SNN explaining what really happened. Here is the report from abs-cbn.com:
Ayon sa kanila, John Lloyd arrived Japan with a tourist visa at hand.

Upon hearing daw kasi that he had to be detained overnight, John Lloyd opted to voluntarily return back home and follow the immigration officers' advice na bumalik na lamang after ng nabanggit na concert to avoid inconvenience.
We don't think this should be an issue. It is just a reality check for stars like him that unlike in the Philippines, some countries have rules that apply to EVERYBODY. You know what we mean.

We hope John Lloyd is handling this issue well though.

Kris Aquino Out; Sharon being considered for Pinlipinas Got Talent!

Whoa! Kris Aquino just backed out from being one of the three judges for ABS-CBN's upcoming talent search show, Pilipinas Got Talent.

Here is Kris' explanation from abs-cbn.com:

“I made some important decisions this week. Kasi I was slated to be a part of Pilipinas Got Talent which would have entailed so much travel. It was this week that I backed out kasi our taping for the teleserye is M-W-F. Uwi ako 4 or 5 in the morning from the soap. Tapos Tuesday and Thursday morning ‘di [na] ako mapakinabangan [sa sobrang pagod].”
“Nafi-feel ko talaga na yung mga kids hinahanap talaga ako. Even if James is not complaining, I also felt [like reducing my workload kasi] sabi niya two weeks into taping the soap, ‘Gaano katagal nga ‘yan?’”
“So sabi ko kay Tita Cory (Vidanes), ‘I’m sorry, it’s a decision for my kids and for my health. I’ll let this go even though super nami-miss ko yung mga katrabaho ko. Kasi from Game KNB? all the way to Kapamilya Deal or No Deal sila. But I think I have to make a choice na huwag maging swapang about work at the expense of my family…Ayoko naman ma-feel na walang kwenta akong nanay. Mas okay na i-give up ko yung ibang trabaho. Hindi naman kami magugutom kung i-give up ko yung trabahong yun.”
No less than Sharon Cuneta is being eyed to replace Kris. Who can you suggest?

Here are excerpts of the interview courtesy of abs-cbn.com:

“Na-miss ko po siya. Andami ko pong napatunayan sa sarili ko na siya po talaga. Siya talaga ang mahal ko.”

Uh-oh. It will be replaced by a talent show entitled Todo Bigay.

We wonder how GMA and their fans will protect their ego. Todo Bigay is obviously a copy of the ABS-CBN's morning breakout show Showtime.

ABS-CBN's Christmas Special tonight: Will GMA be able to match it?

According to reports, ABS-CBN's Christmas Special was really star-studded. Almost all ABS-CBN stars were present even Judy Ann Santos who was rumored to have considered not attending it.

Most numbers were singing showdown for the Kapamilya singer-stars but comedy stints were also done courtesy of Chokoleit, Pokwang and Pooh.

On the other hand, GMA will also stage a Christmas Special via "After the Rain: A Hopeful Christmas with Regine.” We're not sure yet if this is THE Christmas Special of the Kapuso network or if they have plans to stage another one soon.

Here is GMA's press release of the special from igma.tv:
GMA Network's award-winning primetime news anchors Mel Tianco and Mike Enriquez, together with Kapuso prime time royalties Richard Gutierrez, Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, will share inspiring words and feelings of admiration for the typhoon victims’ courage and resilience amidst the disasters.

The country's top singers, led by Regine, performed on stage while stories about losing loved ones, of unsung heroes, and tales of survival, hope, happy endings, and gratitude unfold. Others who gave heartwarming performances were Jaya, Kuh Ledesma, Pops Fernandez, JayR, Kyla and La Diva plus the UP Concert Chorus.

Which one will you watch?
No photos of the GMA special are available because GMA's site is right-click protected and we get the idea that they don't want to share their photos.

PBB Daily: Latest Nominees are Hermes, Carol, Patrick and Sam!

Hermes got 7 votes including the three points from Carol.
Carol got 6 votes while Patrick and Sam tied at 5.

Our verdict? Hermes deserves to go out. That's for being a flirt and pretentious. Carol is annoying but she's slightly more tolerable than Hermes, Patrick is a nice guy and Sam is just quiet so there's no strong reason to evict them.

Who will you vote to save? And who will you vote to evict?

MMK this Saturday: Luis and Carmen Soo

Will you watch it?

And if you will/did, what do you think?

Regine thinking of leaving SOP?

This is what is all around the news today. Here's a report from philstar.com:

“She’s not happy with the show anymore,” said Funfare’s Kapuso DPA. “Basta, hindi na siya masaya.”

It’s not sure yet when Regine will disappear from the show. Who knows, tomorrow could be...knock on wood...her farewell appearance. Be alert for whatever “announcement” Regine will make on S.O.P. tomorrow. Or she might opt to simply keep mum.
This would mean impending doom to the variety show which has been getting constantly low ratings. We know how much Regine loves the show since she keeps tweeting about it so we are unsure if there is truth about her leaving the show.

Or is this a desperate move to increase the show's ratings?

Rhian Ramos vs. KC Concepcion: Who's the better actress?

We watched the endings of Lovers in Paris and Stairway to Heaven and we'd say that we liked the ending of Stairway better.

However, we noticed how weak Dingdong was in acting. The scenes were so heavy and dramatic yet Dingdong's face was almost blank with very little expression! That's a far cry from Piolo's acting on Lovers in Paris. Zanjoe Marudo even did a better job than Dingdong.

It was good that Rhian Ramos was able to cry! It was like they were both struggling to act. Erich and Enchong could have acted out those scenes easily. As in.

On the other hand, we have mixed thoughts about KC. Sometimes she looks unfit for the role but sometimes she looks like she's doing a good job.

So what do you think?

PBB Daily: We're not buying Hermes' voluntary exit drama!

If you watched PBB yesterday (which we believe almost everybody did- aminin!) Hermes went to the confession room to tell Kuya that he wanted to go out. His reason? He thinks he is th reason why Carol is always sad!

What kind of moron would believe that? Sorry for the words but Hermes' story is sooo predictable and pretentious. Since when did he really care about Carol when he was and is so busy flirting with the other girls?

We think he's trying to get the attention and support of televiewers because he felt that he was almost evicted last week.

What do YOU think?

P.S. We were laughing so hard with Melai's song and antics. That girl's a natural comedienne!

PBB Daily: Melai continues to entertain the Housemates; She's now being compared to Pokwang!

In the above photos, Melai was telling the entire story of One More Chance (Bea and John Lloyd's movie) and it looked like the housemates enjoyed her sharing very much.

But the housemates are not the only ones being well entertained by Melai. She's the hands down favorite of most PBB fans. And we honestly think PBB won't be the same without her!

Her comedy skills are also being compared to that of Pokwang. We already shared to you about how Pokwang looks forward to working with Melai but here are statements from Pokwang herself:

“‘Yun ang binigay sa kanya ni God at hindi natin pwedeng burahin sa kanya ‘yun. Parang ako gift sa akin ni God itong talent ko so ito ang nakapagpa-bago sa buhay ko and I’m sure si Melai, ‘yun din ang makakapagpabago sa buhay niya basta alagaan lang niya ng bonggang-bongga ang kung ano mang opportunities ang darating sa kanya at mahalin niya ‘yun.”
And about working with Melai, she said, “Why not? Hindi malabo dahil iisa kami ng istasyon. Ina-anticipate ko na ‘yun na makaktrabaho ko siya balang araw and I’m looking forward to it.”

Hayden Kho prefers ABS-CBN than GMA!

Pep.ph just gave this tweet:
May tampo raw si Hayden Kho Jr. sa GMA-7 kaya ayaw niyang magbigay ng interview dito. Ang banat niya, "I will give the ratings to ABS-CBN!"

Bea Alonzo is rumored to be Piolo Pascual's partner in the upcoming MMK about Ninoy and Cory. This means Bea is going to play one of the most coveted roles today: Cory Aquino.

Do you think she's the best girl for this?

It's Regine not Claudine for Mark Anthony!

Yup. Mark Anthony Fernandez's next project will be Regine Velasquez's Diva. The teleserye will be shown next year maybe sometime after Regine's stint in Darna.

Glaiza de Castro is also included in the cast. There also rumoprs about Claudine to play back-up to Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal's fantaserye.

Is this true? And are you excited about these two new GMA shows?

GMA: Mark Anthony Fernandez is not on Drugs!

Here's the official statement from the network:

GMA Network would like to assure the fans and followers of Mark Anthony Fernandez that there is no truth to the rumor that he is into any kind of drugs.

His role though in the top-rating program Darna will be a bit shorter than originally planned to give way to Mark Anthony's upcoming projects (possibly with Claudine?). This decision was mutually agreed upon by the Kapuso artist and the network's Entertainment executives to give him time to rest and prepare for his movie and his new GMA program which will start taping in January 2010.

Piolo as Ninoy Aquino on MMK: Is he the right man to do it?

Piolo has confirmed that he is shooting an MMK episode about the National Hero. He said on abs-cbn.com, “We’re taping next week. Next year na ipapalabas. Hindi ko pa pwedeng sabihin kung sino ‘yung ibang cast. It will be directed by Jeffrey Jeturian.”

“Sobrang nakaka-pressure kasi napakalaki ng expectation ng mga tao. Noon pa lang marami na ang nagsasabi na kesyo hindi ko kamukha si Ninoy, that I’m not as eloquent as he was, na wala akong karapatan to portray him.”

“Habang wala pang dumadating na kontrata sa akin to do a Ninoy biopic ito munang MMK ang pagtutuunan ko ng pansin. The show wants to pay tribute rin kay former President Cory. This is a big opportunity and at the same time a challenge for me to portray somebody who is hailed a hero of our generation.”

Hmm. Do you think Piolo will be able to give justice for the part? Based on his acting powers. we think so. How about you?

Our Favorite comedienne receives a much-deserved award!

Pokwang just received a Working Mom Magazine’s Balance Award for the Triumph Over Tragedy category last night! Congratulations! According to the editor-in-chief of the said magazine, they chose Pokwang because when they read Pokwang's story they started crying because they never knew she has a sad life.

Working Mom Editor-in-Chief Dedet Panabi said, "She's a comedienne and she's always making people happy and yet she went through all of this (sufferings) but she didn't give up. She didn't lose her sense of humor, never stopped wanting to make other people happy and I think the reason why we gave her an award is that I'm sure there's no one in this room who has not gone through any tragedy and what Pokwang reminds us is that there's always a reason to laugh, there's always an opportunity to make others laugh and the real triumph here is the human spirit that nothing can bring a good mother down."

Pokwang said on abs-cbn.com, "Thank you very much.

She made the audience laugh when she said, "Thank you po sa Working Mom, sa mga bumubuo sa lahat lahat, Sir Ernie Lopez , maraming maraming salamat sa iyo, crush kita alam mo 'yun.

SHOCKER: PBB is No.1 in Mega Manila last night!

AGB Mega Manila Ratings (Dec. 8):

1. PBB Double Up 33.6%

2. Darna 32.7%
3. 24 Oras 30.5%
4. Stairway to heaven 30.2%
5. Dahil May Isang Ikaw 29.8%

Here's the tweet from Pep.ph:
AGB Mega Mla Ratings (Dec. 8): 24 30.5/TV 28.3; Darna 32.7/Bukas 27.3; Full 29.1/Lovers 25.8; Stairway 30.2/Dahil 29.8; Sana 20.1/PBB 33.6

Wait! We think there's an explanation to this!
PBB was able to get the highest rating not only because many people are watching it but also because other ABS-CBN programs are doing a good job in decreasing their rival GMA shows' viewers. Did you notice it? May Bukas Pa is getting stronger in Mega Manila too. This is why Darna's rating is going down.
Another explanation is that PBB's rival show Sana Ngayong Pasko is weak.
But still, it is undeniable that this season might be the most interesting and entertaining of all PBB seasons. Thanks to Melai, Jason and the other housemates!
Agree?

Anak TV Awards: Looks like kids don't like Kapusos that much!

• Edu Manzano
• Cesar Montano
• Piolo Pascual
• Gary Valenciano
Kapuso:
• Vic Sotto
• Mike Enriquez
Either Kapamilya or Kapuso:

• Anne Curtis
• Karen Davila
• Sarah Geronimo

How come most stars of the self-proclaimed No.1 network in the Philippines did not even get noticed by kids? Nowhere in the list are Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado and even Alkris.

How would GMA fans explain this?
