Kim gives Gerald a golf cart and LV bag for his birthday!

Wow. These two sure know how to give great gifts. Gerald said on abs-cbn.com, “Binigyan ako ng golf cart. Binigyan (din) ako ng LV bag na napakaganda pero hindi ko gagamitin kasi ire-reserve ko. Idi-display ko na lang kasi sayang, napakaganda.”

Kim also organized a party for Gerald which was attended by Rayver Cruz, Matt Evans, Jay-R Siaboc and other friends. Gerald said, “Nagset-up siya ng karaoke, kulang na lang clowns. Sobrang ganda talaga.”

Kim explained, “Siyempre 21 na siya, parang wala pa akong pamalit na regalo dun sa pink na sasakyan, sobrang ibang gift ‘yon. Sabi ko mag-iisip nga ako, debut niya rin, eh. ‘Yun na lang (ang naisip ko) kasi lagi siyang umiikot sa village nila na naka-motor para maiba naman golf cart naman kahit wala sa golf course. Wish ko sa kanya good health kasi sobrang busy niya and siyempre sana hindi siya magbago dahil ‘yun ang minahal sa kanya. Sobrang bait niya.”

Gerald also spent some time with Cancer patients on his birthday. He shared, “’Yung materyal na bagay hindi naman talaga importante. If you’re blessed, try to bless other people. Kung kaya mong gawin, work hard, receive hard, share hard.”

Gerald Anderson gets First Best Actor Award; Kim gets her second one!

The Student’s Choice Awards for Radio and Television of Northwest Samar State University has awarded Geral Anderson his first Best Actor award for his performance in Tayong Dalawa while Kim Chiu was given her 2nd Best Actress award also for Tayong Dalawa.

Gerald said on abs-cbn.com, “Mas nakaka-inspire ito para sa amin ni Kim. Sa mga students ng Northwest Samar State University, maraming salamat po sa pag-vote niyo sa akin. I’m happy na nagiging inspirasyon ako sa inyong mga students. Maraming salamat na rin sa lahat ng taga-Samar.”

“Kung looking forward [na manalo], hindi. But I will be very happy kung mabibigyan ako ng award. Pero kasi hindi ‘yun ang goal ko tuwing gagawa ako ng project. Ang gusto ko lang e makilala bilang isang magaling na aktor, kung may award man o wala.”

And here's another one: Gerald was given recognition by the Philippine Psychiatric Association for his portrayal of a young man stricken with Tourette syndrome in the episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya entitled Lubid.

This just reminds us that QUALITY shows don't only get good ratings but also lots of recognition. Kudos to abs-cbn for making relevant projects such as these. GMA should get the idea and think outside their comfort zone of fantaseryes.

We also love Gerald's humility. He said, “Hindi pa talaga ako magaling na aktor pero siguro I can say na mas magaling na akong umarte compared noon. Marami pa akong dapat matutunan. Marami pa akong gustong ma-absorb mula sa magagaling na actors at directors na nakakatrabaho ko. Malayo layo pa sa tingin ko ang lalakbayin ko.”

Paano Na Kaya earns 66.3 million by second week!

Kimerald's movie has earned a total of 1,436,843 dollars as of Feb 7 according to box office mojo. And as of February 17, the exchange rate is at 46.115 pesos per dollar according to inquirer.net. That means the movie has earned roughly 66.2 million pesos!

And that's still about to go higher as the movie is still showing in many cinemas throughout the country.

That puts Kimerald another step farther from other young loveteams of today.

Paano Na Kaya rules Box Office for Jan27-31; earns 41.4 Million in its First Week!

It's official: Paano Na Kaya is a Box Office Hit! International company Box Office Mojo has released the box office results in major Philippine Cinemas for the week of Jan 27-31 and KIMERALD's movie is No.1 followed by foreign flicks like Legion, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Tooth Fairy, Avatar and others.

It's important to note though that Box Offixe Mojo's results do not include many of the cinemas out of Manila so the real earnings of the movie are expected to be more than 41 million.

Congratulations KIMERALD. Now it will be foolish to compare Alkris and Kimerald. The two loveteams are SO NOT in the same level.

Coco Martin denies issue about almost leaving KTM because of Kris' and Kim's "kaplastikan"!

Well, here's the issue. According to rumors, Coco Martin wanted his chracter in Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo to be killed soon because he could no longer take the criticisms made by Kris Aquino and Kim Chiu on him behind his back.

Coco denied the issue in an interview with abs-cbn.com, Coco said,“Alam mo naman ‘pag may show kanya-kanyang issue lang naman ‘yan. Actually nagugulat nga ako nang lumabas ang isyu na ‘yon si Kris Aquino nga mismo niregaluhan ako nung Christmas ng jacket, saka lola ko niregaluhan niya kumbaga sabi ko nakakahiya [nang biglang lumabas ang isyu.]”

Kim Chiu also aired her side in the same website saying, “Sabi namin kay Coco, ‘Inaapi ka ba namin? Aminin mo, aminin mo,. Sabi niya (Coco), ‘Hindi naman, hindi naman, ano ka ba?’ Sobrang close kami ni Coco sa set. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Paano naman ako mang-aapi ng Coco Martin, hello? Parang teka lang hindi naman yata totoo ‘yan.”

We were pleasantly surdprised with the roles of Robi Domingo and Melissa Ricks in this Kimerald movie. This will be one of the reasons for us to see Paano na Kaya. We think this is Robi's first movie and he deserves it. He's so cute and so is Melissa. She's become more beautiful lately.

Kim Chiu's Cleavage Exposed!

Thanks to getitfromboy.net, we now have a copy of Kim Chiu's sexy pictorial in Metro magazine. Hmm, we're not exactly impressed by her cleavage but damn, she looks beautiful in this photo!

And oh, have you heard the news about Kris Bernal's extreme dieting that led to anorexia issues? We think its a ploy to get people's attention (her newest TV show is starting) but still we can't stop ourselves from thinking, is Kris trying to copy Kim Chiu? Their issues are almost the same. Remember the weight problems and even the face enhancement surgeries that are being suspected to have undergone? Hmm.

Well, we'll say this once and we're sorry ALKRIS fans. We think Aljur has a hotter body than Gerald. And Kris may even have a sexier body than Kim(we're not sure about this). But when it comes to face value, KIMERALD beats ALKRIS.

Paano na Kaya Trailer: You like?

Hmm. We think it's Kimerald chance to show how stronger they are than Alkris whose starting movie was a big flop. Previous Kimerald movies did well but we have a feeling this one will do even better. How about you?

Gerald gives Kim a Pink Bike Cruiser; The two are excited for 2 big projects this January!

Yes. Gerald's gift to Kim was another pink thing with wheels (He gave her a pink car during her debut).

The two are ABS-CBN's year opener for 2010 with a big teleserye, "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo" and a movie, "Paano na Kaya?".

What could they say about this?

Kim: “Syempre masaya po kami and sobrang thankful po kami sa ABS-CBN at Star Cinema sa tiwalang ibinigay sa amin na bigyan kami ng malaking teleserye at ng malaking movie kaya gagalingan namin and siyempre sobrang confident kami.”
Gerald: “Bilang opening ng Star Cinema for 2010 siyempre ‘yung pressure andon pero me and Kim are very confident sa movie at sa bagong soap namin. Sobra po kaming confident for these projects.”

We also think their projects will be a success judging on the power of their fans. Surely, no one will argue with us if we say that GMA still doesn't have a loveteam strong enough to match Kimerald.

Kim Chiu shared lots of stuff in an interview with abscbn.com. Here are some of her words:
“First time na wala si Gerald kaya nakakapanibago. Nasanay akong si Gerald ang lagi kong katrabaho at kakwentuhan sa set. Kapag alam kong si Gerald ang makakasama ako kampante ako na meron akong ka-close agad sa first week na ‘yung ibang co-stars e hindi mo pa masyadong makakwentuhan.”
