The PBB ex-housemates' Isla episode on Your Song did very well last Sunday, so did The Buzz. However, ASAP had to share the the top position with Party Pilipinas. Well, that's okay since both shows were pre-taped. We'll see next Sunday when the two shows do it LIVE!
Agua Bendita is still undisputed in the primetime race but Diva is doing an EXCEPTIONAL job, placing second last Tuesday.
But all in all, ABS-CBN still is the leader in Mega Manila.

PBB- Teen Clash - THIS Show Will shake the Primetime ratings Once again...kasi parang nakaka bored narin ang sunod-sunod na drama ng ABS-CBN Primetime Line-up....
-and PBB Seasons are always my Favorite among ABS-CBN's Primetime....stories are soooo unpredictable and reality shows are always exciting!
MMK- Lagi namang dito dumadaan lahat ng Artista na gagawa ng Series sa ABS-CBN....MMK never fails...laging award winning ang story nito....i never complain on any MMK episodes

KAPATID NETWORK A BIG FAILURE!
ReplyDeleteThe industry's third player in Philippine free TV advertising, TV5, made its debut as a "kapatid network" last Sunday with its fresh line up of new shows pitted against industry leaders ABS-CBN and GMA-7. But everything went terrible for MVP as most of its highly invested programs failed to reach enough support to threaten top competitors. Even the launching of its station ID only posted 3..5%, a far cry from Showbiz Central's 9.5% and The Buzz with 10%. Special Investigation of Presidentiables Villar and Erap also failed to atttract viewers with a pathetic 4%. The same same fate disgraced the Diamond star's new drama special with only 2%, not far from fellow kapatid shows Aksyon 3% and Timbangan 2.3%. Even TV5's Asia Novelas failed to gravitate viewers with My Wife 2%, Five Wives Club 2%, Smile Honey 2.5% and Hi Kick 2.5%,more than a thousand mile behind from Wowowee and Eat Bulaga's 16%.. Nonetheless Comedy King's Pidol's Wonderland and and Vic Sotto's Ang Darling kong Aswang made a fair debut, with Vic's sitcom beating Talentadong Pinoy and terrified Mel and Joey with an impressive 13.9%.
So with this pathetic patronage, do you think TV5 can really make an upswing in the ratings game in just 3 years? Honestly, I really doubt. But we'll never know, with P5B at hand, there might be surprise soon. Let's just hope for the best, it's the industry's advantage to welcome a new employer that will aide fading stars outshined by new and more talented artists.

ReplyDeleteAno to? TNS Philippines Television Audidence Measurement Reveal that it is THE LAST PRINCE and not AGUA BENDITA that rules Mega Manila Primetime viewing! Aba, this is a big catch especially that its rival firm consistenly reports Agua Bendita topping the race with a very healthy margin. So alin ngayon ang totoo? and come to think of it this goes against most people's impression na bias ang TNS towards ABS-CBN and AGB towards GMA-7.

Ayon sa TNS among the 770 sample household nila sa mega manila, TLP registered 33.9%, 0.5% higher than 33.4% of Agua Bendita, iba ito sa survey result ng AGB that among 800 panel homes Agua Bendita is up by a 2.8% advantage over TLP with 32.6% vs 29.8% for March 30.Malaki rin ang discrepancy between 24 ORAS at TV Patrol, sa TNS lamang ang Dos with 25.9 % against 25.3%, pero taliwas ito sa AGB with 24 Oras 28.4% vs TVPW 24.7%Well this difference in survey results suggests that these panel homes does not necessarily represent the true viewing habit of the area they represent, but they are just merely giving an approximate overview of the real scenario. Anyway its your judgement naman kung kanino ka mas convince, but payo ko lang don't make the number of panel homes your basis ha. Hindi porket mas madami ng konti ang panel homes eh mas malapit na yun sa katotohanan, it does not follow. Nasa procedure yan ng pagpili, na dapat ay umaayon sa scientific sampling, otherwise kahit 1,000,000 panel homes pa yan magiging invalid parin ang result kung walang proper sampling strategy. Anyway here are the numbers from both TV measurement agencies.

Sana gumaya na lang sila sa tv stations sa America. May mga "forte" yung mga tv stations: yung iba sa news, yung iba sa variety shows, yung iba naman sa dramas. Para ang market shares nila eh mataas palagi. Di na kailangan ng competition o kung anu-ano pang shit.
