Kris Aquino confronts husband James' rumored other woman!

Perhaps Philippines' most controversial celebrity, Kris Aquino, again made noise when she went to the house of Mayen Austria and talked to her about her relationship with Kris' husband, James Yap.


There are many versions of the story including one saying that Kris shouted insults furiously for ten minutes at Mayen and her mother. Another version from Boy Abunda said that Kris first talked to Mayen's mother. Boy told inquirer.net, "She (Kris) said they almost split up in December and that they were separated for weeks. Kris also told [Austria’s mom] that she is fighting hard for their marriage. She said she really wanted their marriage to work. In the middle of their conversation, (Mayen) arrived and said there was nothing going on between her and James and that they’re just friends.”

“In all fairness to James, he did not hide from Kris that he was talking with the girl. I think he even used his phone in front of Kris,” Abunda stressed.

“I understood why Kris did it. I would’ve done the same thing. It was unfair to say that Kris quarreled with the girl. She spoke with caution and temperance. It’s just that with what’s happening between them, she thought that if there was a problem, hindi na n’ya palalakihin pa (she won’t blow out it of proportion). She would like to nip it in the bud.”

Mayen is supposed to be just a fan of James Yap and his basketball team. Legazpi City Bishop Joel Baylon, a family friend of the Austrias who was visiting their home when the incident ahppened said, “I only knew about it when Mayen, between sobs, related to us the incident immediately after Kris left.”

This is what we think about the matter. A wife confronting another woman who can possibly be her husband's "other woman" is normal, something that really happens. What made things controversial was because it was Kris doing it. This issue will not die soon. Many more versions of the story will come out. This can be the start of the end of Kris and James' controversial marriage and this could either help or inflict damage to Noynoy Aquino's presidential campaign.

Pep.ph reported that Kris told Nonoy, "Pasensya ka na that my marital crisis is now being used to attack you."

To which Noynoy answered, "Let me reiterate, prioritize your family, never mind the campaign."

What can you say about this? Us? Kris should just shrug this off and let James Yap choose. Anyway, if James can't keep her hands off other ladies, Kris will do better without him.
