ABS-CBN continues to reign in Mega Manila especially in the primetime race where late-night show Rubi has entered the top 5 beating The Last Prince and 24 Oras. Even Tanging Yaman is inching closer to First Time losing only by .5%.
Panday Kids went form NO.3 Last Tuesday to 2nd place yesterday which is a good sign.
Meanwhile in the Daytime race, Showtime already has a very good lead against Wowowee and Eat Bulaga. Seems like the demolition job against the show and Vice Ganda is not working. Hmm. Here are the numbers courtesy of AGB and pep.ph:

can you please make a story or an article or review about kantaserye DIVA, personally i really like regine as a singer but i think the kantaserye does not have enough meat to be a hit.
ReplyDeleteDi na kasi bagay kay regine ang role na Diva, kasi gurang na s'ya. Siguro kung si sarah ang mag lead sa kanta serye na 'yan maghi-hit pa. Ang magiging nanay ni sarah ay si Regine para mas talgang tatangkilikin.

-Bituing Walang Ningning (A Star Without Shine) was a Filipino television serial drama that began airing in May 15, 2006, and ended on October 6 of that same year on the ABS-CBN television network.
-The TV version staged a Grand Showdown, dubbed as "The Clash of the Divas", between Dorina and Lavinia (very much like the same one also featuring the final showdown between Dorina and Lavinia). The Grand Showdown scenes were taped in front of a live audience of more than 15,000 viewers on September 19, 2006 at the Araneta Coliseum[1]. Selected scenes from the Grand Showdown were used in the show's final episodes.
-The October 1, 2006 episode of The Buzz interviewed Sarah Geronimo and Angelika Dela Cruz in their characters on the TV series as part of the show's promotion. The Buzz made if appear as if Boy Abunda is interviewing Dorina, and Kris Aquino is interviewing Lavinia, in real time. Sarah Geronimo had a taped interview with Boy Abunda in the role of Dorina, while Angelika Dela Cruz, in the character of Lavinia, reacted to Dorina's interview in a live interview with Kris Aquino. The interview was also aired the next day in the fifth to the last episode of the series.

**Actress Angelika dela Cruz was originally hesitant to accept the role of Lavinia, fearing that she would be typecasted in antagonist roles. **Two rival entertainment reporters on the TV series (Oscar and Edith) are portrayed by real-life husband and wife Benjie Felipe and Lisa Andaya.

ReplyDeleteDAHIL SUNUD-SUNOD NA binatikos ang up-coming Sunday show na Party Pilipinas sa GMA-7 kahit na hindi pa ito nagsisimula, e, umeksena na raw ang mga top executives at kinausap nang masinsinan ang mga production officials.
Kinuwestiyon daw kasi ng GMA executives kung bakit title lang ang iniba pero halos pareho ang lahat magmula sa hosts hanggang sa mga production people.
Sabi pa, kung gagawa sila ng aggressive move para matalbugan ang ASAP XV ng Dos ay kailangang maging bago ang lahat sa paningin ng mga televiewer.
Pero naglakas-loob na nagtanong ang isang production official: “Paano po sina Ogie Alcasid at Regine Velasquez na pinangakuan po natin ng bonggang show in exchange for their loyalty sa network natin?”
Oo nga naman. E, hindi birong talent fee at mga shows ang prinamis ng TV5 sa kanila tapos aalisin sila as hosts sa Party PIlipinas? Parang ang hirap gawin, hendehvah?

Hindi pa handa ang show na ipapalit ng GMA 7 sa nag-goodbye na SOP.
Hindi tuloy ang launching ng bagong musical variety show nila sa Marso 21.
Sa Marso 28 pa raw matutuloy ‘yon.
Malamang din daw na hindi na Party Pilipinas ang title no’n. Ayon sa ilang GMA 7-insiders, working title pa lang ang Party Pilipinas. Pero ayon kay Ms. Ruth Mariñas na production unit manager ng show na ‘yon, ‘yun na raw talaga ang title ng kanilang bagong musical variety show.
Sa isa sa mga column ni Manay Lolit (Solis), naisulat niya na nire-request ng fans na mapasama si Richard Gutierrez sa show na kapalit ng SOP at mukhang magkakaroon na ‘yon ng katuparan.
Mismong ang mga taga-bagong show ng Siyete ang nagkuwento sa akin na hindi pumayag ang GMA 7 management na hindi kasali si Richard sa show na ‘yon.
Pati si Raymond Gutierrez ay magiging isa sa “party jocks” (tawag nila sa hosts) ng bagong show.
