"We are appalled by the behavior of some people who have irresponsibly posted over the internet a photo of our artist, Ms. Anne Curtis Smith, taken during the taping of one of her production numbers for ASAP XV. What happened during the taping was an unfortunate accident. Nothing was done intentionally. Anne was merely doing her best to deliver a solid performance as an artist.

"It is disheartening to discover though that certain people have taken advantage of the situation, maliciously uploading the photos over the internet. Worse, participating in the proliferation of the same over the net.

"Obviously, some unscrupulous individuals have capitalized on this misfortune and consequently exploited our artist whose only fault was to do her job well.

"We appeal to these individuals, please have a little respect and decency to stop posting the photos and distributing the same. Think of your sister, your mother, your wife, and your daughter. Have a heart."

Ruffa accepts Kris' Apology!

In an interview published on pep.ph, Ruffa said "I do appreciate and accept Kris's apology," nakangiting sabi ni Ruffa sa panayam sa kanya ng TV Patrol World at 24 Oras.

"Ako naman, you know, I'm a very fun-loving individual at kaibigan ko rin naman si Kris...and I have the highest respect for her. I know that we love each other, and I know that we've been friends for a long, long time."

"Medyo nasaktan lang ako no'n kasi dun sa mga parinig niya na, 'O, you know, mahal na mahal ako ng mga taga-Laoag, 70 percent ng mga tao nakikita ako dito...' Parang pinapalabas niya na walang manonood sa akin sa TV5."

"Hindi ako nag-walkout, ha! Ikaw talaga! Ewan ko ba't sinabi na nag-walkout, mga intrigero kayo! Masama bang umiyak sa dressing room? Grabe!"

"I really wanna go back on air but I couldn't stop crying. So, natanggal na yung pilik-mata ko, nag-smear na yung liner ko. And I admit, I was emotional. I have been emotional for the past two weeks. Kung akala ng mga tao OA, e, OA. Ganun talaga emotion ko nung time na 'yon, wala akong magagawa. But, hindi ko talaga sinasadya 'yon."

On her mom

"Kausap ko si Mommy kanina. Sinabi lang niya [her mom], 'Naku, Day, tanggapin mo na yung apology ni Kris, Day. Kasi nakita ko naman, nagpakumbaba na siya. Sige, okay na 'yon, Day.' Pero Mommy ko naman, para siyang volcano, 'no."

And lastly, she said, "Message ko kay Kris, love, love, love and peace, peace, peace!"

We have always loved Ruffa for being this cool and graceful. Now we hope the issue will end.

"I can also understand that Ruffa's mom dislikes Noynoy & my family, maybe because of association & our vocal proclamation of admiration for Dingdong & his selfless contribution to help Noy's presidential bid. Vice Ganda is a part of Sarah and Juday's movie Hating Kapatid. And when asked about Vice Ganda's attitude, the box-office queen said, "wala akong nakikitaang yabang sa kanya, witty lang talaga siya and trabaho niya kasi yun tsaka wala naman siguro talagang intention si Vice na makasakit.”

Hmm. Issues about Vice Ganda are dying down. Is it because the perpetrators of the demolition job have realized that by making up issues about him, they're just actually helping him become more popular? LOL.

Roxanne Guinoo to get married next year!

Boy Abunda shared on SNN yesterday about Roxanne Guinoo's plans to get married next year. He said, “Masayang-masaya po ako na ibahagi po itong si Roxanne po ay magpapakasal at ang aking balita po ay ang kasal ay magaganap early next year.”

Roxanne's career has not yet really reached its peak after several years in showbiz. She even let go of a good project Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal because of its sexy scenes.

Has she chosen a more private and quiet life? For sure, it will be hard for her to stage a comeback unless ABS-CBN gives her one more chance to revive her faltering career.

Where the hell are the AGB Mega Manila Ratings results for Last Saturday and Sunday?

The Feb 15 AGB Mega Manila(Monday) ratings are already out. TNS has already released ratings from Feb. 13-15 (Friday to Monday).

So where is the AGB Mega Manila Ratings for last Saturday and Sunday?

Is it still being analyzed and finalized or is it under some "enhancement" processes?

Hmm. Or has there been a problem with the house panels again?

Oh, or are they preparing for Darna's 99% ratings on Friday? Kidding. :D

Jamby angers Juday and fans!

Judy Ann finally reacted to Jamby Madrigal's admission that she regrets getting the services of a celebrity (Judy Ann) in her previous campaign.

Judy Ann said, “I was hurt. I was deeply hurt. Sa opinion ko po, sa sinabi niyang mga words na she regrets getting my services, hindi naman ako manhid para hindi masaktan dahil buong paniniwala ko, she got my services because she actually believed in me and it was a sincere offer. Tapos iba ang sinasabi niya ngayon.”

She added, “Saka hindi naman lahat ng artista may katapat na pera. Hindi po lahat ng artista ay mukhang pera.”

Whoa! What was Jamby thinking? She's already unpopular and now she just angered probably thousands of Judy Ann fans by what she said.

And we'd like to qoute what one of our friends said about Jamby, "She just ensured her defeat in the May 2020 elections whith what she did with Juday."

ABS-CBN and GMA have different views on COMELEC's Fair Election Act

COMELEC has a ruling that urges celebrities who endorse a political candidate to take a leave or resign permanently from their tv programs.

The two giant networks have different views on this one. GMA sort of agrees while ABS-CBN believes that their talents are not exactly employees and so are exempted from the ruling.

GMA said:

"GMA Network is advising its talents that they have to take a leave of absence if they continue to campaign for or endorse candidates or political parties during the campaign period, even if the taping of their participation in the promotion or plug of the candidate was done before the campaign period.

"GMA Network's talents, who appeared in political ads or advocacy plugs before February 9, are advised to notify the candidates concerned or those responsible for placing these political plugs not to air them during the campaign period."

ABS-CBN said:

The call for ABS-CBN talents who endorse candidates to go on leave during the campaign period is not required by the Fair Election Act or its implementing rules and regulations. Section 36 of Comelec Resolution No. 8758 in relation to Section 1(4) thereof and the Fair Election Act merely requires that media practitioners such as talents “shall not use his/her time or space to favor any candidate.” In this regard, it is ABS-CBN’s policy that its talents may not use any program to endorse or promote any candidate. This policy is strictly enforced by the network.

The provision of law cited by the PPCRV and Comelec that requires media personalities to either resign or go on leave applies to employees only. Talents are not employees of the network and, therefore, the said provision does not apply to them.

Meanwhile, Kris Aquino also released her statement on this issue on pep:

"The Comelec wants artists who are actively participating in the campaign to take a leave or be jailed. Since when has it been wrong to make a stand for what you believe? What is so wrong in wanting to take an active role in our democratic process? If it's wrong to care about the Philippines & practice my constitutional rights to free speech & my freedom to vote then jail me and let's go back to the dark days of Martial Law!"

Wow. If COMELEC really pursues this rule, ABS-CBN will be more affected because most of their big stars are BIG PLAYERS in today's political arena such as Kris Aquino, Willie Revillame, Korina Sanchez, Boy Abunda, Sarah Geronimo and others.

Coco Martin denies issue about almost leaving KTM because of Kris' and Kim's "kaplastikan"!

Well, here's the issue. According to rumors, Coco Martin wanted his chracter in Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo to be killed soon because he could no longer take the criticisms made by Kris Aquino and Kim Chiu on him behind his back.

Coco denied the issue in an interview with abs-cbn.com, Coco said,“Alam mo naman ‘pag may show kanya-kanyang issue lang naman ‘yan. Actually nagugulat nga ako nang lumabas ang isyu na ‘yon si Kris Aquino nga mismo niregaluhan ako nung Christmas ng jacket, saka lola ko niregaluhan niya kumbaga sabi ko nakakahiya [nang biglang lumabas ang isyu.]”

Kim Chiu also aired her side in the same website saying, “Sabi namin kay Coco, ‘Inaapi ka ba namin? Aminin mo, aminin mo,. Sabi niya (Coco), ‘Hindi naman, hindi naman, ano ka ba?’ Sobrang close kami ni Coco sa set. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. Paano naman ako mang-aapi ng Coco Martin, hello? Parang teka lang hindi naman yata totoo ‘yan.”

Bad news for Katrina Halili fans (are you still around?): After Darna, your idol has NO PROJECTS coming yet.

At presstime ay wala pang balita kung kailan bibigyan ng bagong serye sa GMA-7 si Katrina..Nagtapos kasi ang Darna nang wala man pang linaw kung kailan ang susunod nitong project.
Sa pagkakaalam namin, matatapos na ang kontrata ni Katrina sa GMA-7. Pero noong huli namin siyang makausap at ang kanyang road manager na si Omar Sortijas, sinabi nilang hindi pa nagpaparamdam ang Kapuso network kung ano ang susunod nilang plano para sa career ng aktres.

Katrina and her manager are not yet planning her transfer to other TV stations (we don't think ABS-CBN is interested) because they're still waiting for an offer from the Kapuso network.

Katrina is in a very sad situation. She's not that hot anymore because of her sex videos and does not have a very good image to start with. What happened to her? Mismanagement?

Maricar Reyes who, in our opinion had a more revealing sex video, is having the time of her life right now with a continuous flow of projects. Is it her shrug-it-off-and-move-on style or is it the way she is bein cared for by ABS-CBN?

Marian's rumored ex, Ervic Vijandre says he and Marian went into "LIVE-IN" status!

Whoa! Eddie Littlefield who writes for pinoyparazzi.com had an interview with Marian Rivera's rumored ex-boyfriend and boy, did he share some HOT stuff!

When he asked Ervic Vijandre what caused their break-up, he said, "..petty quarrel na madalas namang nangyayari sa amin pero naayos naman agad namin noon. ABS-CBN is happy to announce that the talent-variety program “Showtime” will return on-air starting tomorrow, 19 Jan 2010, following the issuance of a temporary restraining order by the Court of Appeals enjoining the MTRCB from continuing to enforce the preventive suspension order on the show.

We welcome the CA resolution dated 15 January 2010, which states: “For reasons afore-stated, and as prayed for by petitioner, let a TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER be issued, as it is hereby issued, effective sixty (60) days from notice hereof, enjoining respondent MTRCB, including any and all persons acting in their behalf and under their command and authority, from continuing to enforce the Preventive Suspension Order dated January 11, 2010 issued against petitioner, pending the resolution of the instant petition.”

Kris and James' marriage is in danger again!

All eyes and ears are again on Kris Aquino and James Yap after the basketball-fan incident. Kris shared lots of stuff on The Buzz yesterday. Here are some:

“I’ve tried. God knows I’ve tried. In all fairness to James he has also tried. But maybe in my opinion, not hard enough. Where do we stand now? Nakiusap ako sa kapatid ko na si Pinky if we could stay with them. I’m taking my two sons with me to stay with Pinky not only because I need time and space to think, but we live in one village.”

“In my heart I still want it to work. I want it to work because, number one, I will forever be grateful to James dahil pinakasalan niya ako, na he loved me enough to marry me. But I want it to work because Baby James deserves a mother and a father but he doesn’t deserve this gulo. So kailangan maayos ko, maayos ni James, ayusin namin ang isa’t isa before we can expect na maging okay kami.”

“I am not dehumanizing James. The fact that I’ve stayed with him for almost five years must prove to all of you mahal ko siya. Kaya lang hindi puwedeng ako lang ang nagmamahal. Hindi rin naman puwedeng ako lang ang umiintindi. Kumbaga sa basketball the ball is now in his hands.”

Well, as we said before, Kris can survive without James. With the assest she has, she can get ten better men than James if she likes.
