We just saw the movie and here's what we think.
If you're a fan of Bea,John Lloyd, and the Kapamilya network, you'll surely enjoy the movie. Bea and John Lloyd's performances were great as usual. They have CRAZY kissing scenes here! The story is not extraordinary but there were really interesting parts. We love the way the Pasig river (in its recovery stage) was inserted. We loved the stones detail. The lines were also cute.
But if you're not fond of romantic movies, you might as well save your money. This movie is all about relationships and love. There were some bits and pieces about family and career but really, the movie is centered on the two characters' love story. Nothing much about other things.
Sadly, this movie is not very memorable or remarkable. However, we think it served its purpose. Its just something you watch to feel good, to emote, to escape the dullness of everyday life. It's something couples would enjoy watching.
The movie is also very current because Bea is an HRM graduate who works in Malaysia. Many Filipinos will relate to this because many of us know one or two HRM students and graduates.
P.S. We like the trailer for Anne and Sam's Babe, I Love You. We couldn't find it in youtube yet though! :D

mas maganda yung one more chance. ok lang yung movie. pero hindi ko siya irerecommend.
ReplyDeleteI would say that the tandem of Bea-JLC has leveled up from kilig to more serious and sensible one. something you cannot compare to SG-JLC tandem because Bea-JLC tandem has more depth to it that the former's. In this film, Bea was able to portray a role different from her usual roles and that's a plus factor for that film, aside from the unusual way of telling the story. it is a film that can be appreciated by those who are keen in the deeper side of art than just kilig. An art that is radically done. I love how it was done and how each of the cast, even those with only a cameo role, was able to give justice to his/her role. I can recommend you watch it with open heart and intelligent mind.ΓΌ
