Lovers in Paris vs. Stairway to Heaven: Which is more successful?

The two remakes starring the country's biggest leading men Piolo Pascual and Dingdong Dantes will end at the same time this Friday.

Which Pinoy adaptation of a Korean show is more successful?

    ...successful, well, i can say Stairway,,, pero pagdating sa pag riremake; mas maganda talaga ang LIP,.. magaleng ang direktor and wtriters!ayus din ang photography and cinematography.. kudos to them,, siguro ang nangyari lang, this is not the right project for kc, mas better kung si toni or juday ang gumanap,,,

    no doubt stairway to heaven xiempre! yung lovers in paris maxiadong OA sa pagpa2tawa c KC ndi fit sa knya yung role buti pa stairway to heaven galing ng pagkadeliver nina ding dong and rhian may chemistry tlga!

    I'm a die hard kapamilya. REALLY. But for some certain reason, i agree with everyone saying Stairway to Heaven is more successful than Lovers in Paris. I think KC is not yet a versatile actress. We can clearly see her "SOSYAL sa TOTOONG BUHAY" side. If you are really a versatile actress, even if you're poorer than rats on the drama but you are damn rich in real life, you can still portray the role. Unfortunately, KC didn't made that happen. And yes, her acting is really OA. :)

    ako din kapamilya..... but LIP lang talaga di ko pinapanuod sa primetime lineup ng abscbn kse oa at korni eh.... nung first week naman nun ang ganda ganda..... pero napansin ko yung pagkaoa kea di ko na pinanuod

    stairway to heaven is more successful,but the question should be rephrased kasi pasintabi lang sa nanonood ng LIP in my opinion LIP was never a successful remake , ... KC simply did not deliver .as to those who claim otherwise.. be objective ,do you really think KC deserved the part,dami pa atang other actresses who could have pulled it off sadly, ABS should have given this to some other deserving artist

    stairway, kasi lahat na kakilala ko , pag LIP either switch to other channel or switch off muna tv , d daw kasi nila matagalan makita si KC trying to play vivian

    Tignan mo nalang ang ratings. Consistent sa top 5 ang Lovers in Paris.

    both remakes are below par but lovers in paris is worse. the director tries too hard to build up whatever little chemistry kc and piolo have and it would end up overrated. kc cannot really act. i dont understand why she was included in the walk of fame. she has not proved anything yet. i doubt she ever will.

    i'm sure 'yung nagsabing ginto si kc ay bakla! paano naging ginto si kc? kc's acting is the poorest i've seen amongst kapamilya's talent. a lot people are so biased when it comes to kc.
    kc in "walk of fame?" etong si tandang germs ay talagang isat kalahating bakla. buti na lang, kiko's wife, pia magalona has her dignity in order with regards to kiko m. what did kc accomplished to deserve the "walk of fame?" dahil ba anak siya ni megang nagma-mantika? sana next time huwag namang pairalin ni tandang germs ang kanyang pagka matandang bakla. ngayong patay na si kiko, all of a sudden gustong bigyan ng matandang bakla si kiko ng "star" sa walk of fame?

    wouldn't know which is more successful...what i do know is that mas gusto ko ang LIP. i cannot think of anyone else playing vivian's role better than KC has. many may not agree with me, but i think she gave it just the right touch. some say OA sya, some say kulang pa. i say tamang-tama lang. sa mga nagsasabing KC did not do justice to the role, obviously di naman nila pinanood. she broke away from her "sosyal" image and i think she did it well. karamihan sa nagsasabi na hindi maganda ang LIP bcuz of KC are those who think some other actress would have done it better. sorry, tapos na LIP. si KC ang Vivian, and she did it well. sana lang bago nyo sabihin na di bagay kay KC, sana pinanood nyo talaga from the beginning till the end. kung hindi, e de hindi objective ang judgment.

    napaka-broad ng question. successful in what sense? ratings? impact? commercial load? i don't really care. basta ako, mas gusto ko ang LIP. very positive ang effect sa akin ng LIP. tumatak sa akin ang chemistry ni piolo and kc. very effective sila sa kanilang roles. yung isa, i just happened to see it once sa pinoy tv. di ko nagustuhan so hindi ko na binalikan. so if others would insist STH ang mas successful, okay lang. important sa akin yung positive impact. LIP yun.

    I'm a die hard Kapamilya.. pero di ko talaga kayang tagalan ang LIP, niswiswitch ko sa ibang channel pag LIP na, babalikan ko na lang pag DMII na.. hindi kaya ng powers kong panoorin ang ka-OAyan ni KC.. She's trying so hard to act like her mother.. e hindi bagay sa kanya.. ganyan talaga pag hindi naman talaga sayo ang project na yan, may iba na kasing nakatakda sa project na yan.. isang malaking K yata..

    neither of the two,,,,kapamilya ako kaya di ko pinapanood ang STH,,,e pangit din ang LIP...ayoko ke ZANJOE...at ke Piolo..totoo bang favorite yang si Zanjoe sa Dos??? kasi ano bang meron yan...ang chaka,,di naman kagalingan umacting,,,ang itim pa...tapos ang daming projects! nyak...si Piolo,,isa lang ang atake nya sa mga roles nya..kakasawa,. si KC ok lang sana mag host n lang sya or something na magagamit nya ang pagiging magaling nyang makipag communicate...wag na acting,,puhleassseee!
    STH,,,no comment,,,basta GMA di yan maganda..tsuk!

    you know,,, ang mganda sa kapamilya... hindi kme bulag sa katotohanan... pag may panget na show ang ABSCBN.. vinovoice out nmen... pra yun sa ABS management,para malaman nila na we dont like that show... sa ganong paraan, malalaman nila kung anong mali sa tama, kung anong ayaw ng viewers at para maimprove pa nila ang serbisyo nila sa taong bayan... constructive criticism ba.... ganun kme... unlike sa kapuso na nde kayang aminin sa sarili na panget ang show ng gma.. so sinisiraan na lang nila ang abscbn shows para iuplift yung show nila... siguro may shows ang 7 na maganda nga... kaya nanunuod sila dun... pero pagpangit na yung palabas nila.. ipagpipilitan nila na mganda....

    di nman tlga magande LIP remake. sayang lng xe star-studded. bket nga ba daming projects ni zanjoe, mrami bng fans??? ung ke piolo, dala nman nya ung role, un nga lng ganun lng naman tlga ang role ni carlo. kc is exerting the necessary effort kea lng hilaw pa tlga. di xa dapat ang vivian pro di rin c toni kc subok ng mahina ang hatak ni toni pgdating sa mga teleserye.

    Lovers in Paris wagi sa Nationwide while Stairway wagi sa Metro manila eh alam naman nating lahat na tainted ang ratings sa AGB so Loevers in Paris pa rin panalo, nationwide at worlwide

    i watched lip from start to now and i can't really compare the two kasi i don't watch kapuso shows...i can say na maganda ang istorya ng lip...gusto ko yung mga flashback effect na yung keep guessing kung ano ang koneksiyon ni ganito kay ganyan pero i think kc should do more workshops kasi pag siya yung kaeksena ni piolo na parang naglalambingan parang nakokornihan ako hindi gaya nung sila ni juday or si echo at kristine na hindi mo namamalayan na nakasmile ka at kinikilig..piolo is a good actor no doubt about it ang i love kc because she is so humble despite her status in life pero yung role ni vivian mas bagay talaga kay toni at kay juday gaya ng sabi ng iba dito..i think angelica panganiban also will shine on this serye kasi bagay sa kanila ang drama at comedy..

    I may say... KC improves a lot.... STH has a good cast pero sa set sila sira... I remember na sa isang column dati na nilait ang ABS dahil gastos pa daw ang ginagawa... I may all the expenses are wort it naman dahil ang galing ng production ng lahat ng show nila. ABS gives the good remakes of asianovelas bcoz of the big budgets. and the story is very closed sa orig...menawhile sa GMA naiiba ang story......

    i watch more of kapamilya..but really .. wasnt able to stand lovers in paris. gawd did u just waste your time, effort and money just for a "dry" acting celebrity daughter?????? i really hope that kc will have dignity ..know how to say "no" to a project she knows she wouldnt give justice to.
