How could someone who is considered to be a pseudo national hero and running for congress make statements like this? He has to hire a good publicist and spokesperson as soon as possible.
Pacman was interviewed by Dyan Castillejo on TV Patrol World about the issues involving Krista Ranillo. Here's what he said:
"No comment ako about that issue."
>Why can't he just say that these issues are not true? Is there something stopping him from denying these rumors?
"Tahimik lang ako, bahala silang magkuwento yung mga tao. Alam mo yung mga tao... Siguro kaya hindi tayo umaasenso dahil [pinapakialaman natin] yung personal na buhay ng iba. Sa akin, siguro pagtuunan nila ng pansin yung dapat trabahuhin, hindi yung buhay ng may buhay, yung private life..."
>That's right. But hey Pacman, you're a celebrity and a soon-to-be politician. The people need to know your private life!
"Sana i-honor nila yung nagawa ko, na-achieve kong achievement para sa ating mga Pilipino. Like what I said, alisin muna natin yung tinatawag nating crab mentality. Nakikiusap ako sa inyong lahat na iwasan muna natin 'yon at magkaisa tayo para masaya tayong lahat."
>Huh? How can his achievement be for US Filipinos? How will that benefit us Manny? And oh, crab mentality? Sure many Filipinos maybe envying you money but what will we get if we try to pull you down?
Manny has to do some serious damage control. Right now, it looks like fame and money has gotten into his head.
