Just before ASAP, the trailer of what must be the most "intriguing" movie of the year was shown. And we say intriguing not because of the story or the movie itself but because of the PEOPLE in it.
First, Ex-Pres. Joseph Estrada is there. The name alone is calling for attention. Add to that his announcement of running for presidency next year and you get instant buzz. Then there's the almost equally popular, Mrs. Dionesia Pacquiao who will star in her first movie ever. First of many, Mrs. Pacquaio?
Meanwhile, Ai-ai has proven her box-officepower many times. Even Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga are formidable box-office sensations. For sure, this movie will get a lot of talk. But the question is, will it do good in the cinemas? (And if it does, will it help Erap's presidential bid? Just asking.)
